Re: Xerox 4112 Jam in face down mode 077-111
I recently experienced a similar issue on a D95 (same mechanical hardware as 4110). The Invert gate solenoid was bad. Clear plastic paper guide under 2d directs the paper into to inverter for duplex or face down printing. Alternately to the finisher for face up printing. If the solenoid is bad the gate (paper guide) won’t change the paper direction, causing it to go into the inverter instead of the finisher, when printing face up.
Test it by making a copy and change the output format. Face up then face down then back to face up. This will cause the solenoid to move the paper guide. If it only jams in one of the output formats the solenoid is bad.
REF. PL 13.12 Inverter — Gate. Items 3&7
Hope this was of some help.
Good luck,

Re: Xerox 4112 Jam in face down mode 077-111
Usually the inverter gate solenoid or the duplex gate solenoid. You also want to remove the duplex unit and drawer assembly to inspect the big black connectors that make contact when you slide these units into place. Ive often seen these connectors break / crack. check both sides of both connectors to ensure this is not the case.

I pull up the printer top and turn on the power button. So the magic happens, normal initialization without any error message.
I hope this information could be helpful to others.

Hi Irengej,
Thank you for using the Xerox forum.
I would suggest that you review the following site for a possible solution.

640K88769 Xerox DocuColor 700 550 560 Fuser Exit Switch Actuator
Product Description
Xerox® DocuColor 700 550 560 Fuser Exit Switch Actuator & Sensor 640K88769

13. alexan62 13.09.17 12:38

16. dimedrol 19.09.17 11:02
