Initial Issue

Print Driver PostScript.

  • выбор существующих форматов бумаги;
  • настройка собственного формата (89-320 мм в ширину / 98-1321 мм в высоту);

ESS NVM Initialization.
з. Xerox.

EUREKA doc. # 1099491 Check if there are no blocked sensors in the ADF. To isolate the problem, disconnect ADF from the IIT. Machine should restart and able to make copies. Troubleshoot the ADF for blocked sensors and fix as per documentation.

127-311 RAP
BSD-ON: CH3.7 ESS
ExtPRT
Procedure
This Fault Code may occur in the following situation:
• When the Controller can detect commands but cannot detect input video, data, or clock.
To recover, check cable connections.

24V Power Drop Detected error (UI-Panel). The Control Panel has detected a drop in 24Vpower voltage.Procedure•Turn the power OFF then ON, and then replace the One-Touch Key Module of the MCW-Panel.•Ensure that the customer is programming a job within the parameters of the machine uti-lizing the UI.•Disconnect then reconnect the IIT, UI I/F, ESS, MCU all PWBs connected to them (RAM,Firmware module, EEPROM)•Check the sw version of the controller sw — update if required•Replace UI I/F PWB(PL1.7)•Replace ESS PWB(PL35.2) (If not fixed by this, reinstall the original ESS PWB.)

Thumbs up WC 5225 with software error 124-373

Getting software error 124-373. Would replacing one of the DDR Dimm cards solve this problem? Don’t have in stock or would try it. I guess i could remove to see if error disappears and just get less features. Please advise. Your help is appreciated very much. Frank/ActionPhotocopy

Re: WC 5225 with software error 124-373

-Try to power up printer without drum cartridge, and with left door open.
    -Check all the interlock switches.
    -Could be defective drum cartrige.
-IOT NVM initilisation may be needed.

Thumbs up Re: WC 5225 with software error 124-373

Thank you Mitja. I swapped the drum and still had 124-373 but I did not put new drum. The door switches are okay.

I have 2 machine on my premises and one originally had the 124-373 code and the other 5225 was supposed to be network ready but was missing the 3 cards on the ESS PWB and only offered only copy mode. I received the 3 card and swapped the DDR DIMM #1 card to see if that was problem and got 124-374. Then I swapped back and got long warmup with 116-399 (over ten minute initialization)
Please advise as I have a customer for one of the machines and potential customer for the other. Iam not sure how to do the IOT NVM Initialization but will look it up in service manual. I am totally ignorant on computer connectivity , firmware, software etc and need to learn. Frank

PS When I checked the 2nd machine which had the other machine’s drum there was a message saying to please order the drum.
