Tool used: BMW ICOM A2

Optional solutions:

Note:solutions below are successfully tried by forum friends, but maybe you will be at risk when trying them. So, please be responsible for what you will try next.

Solution 1

You only need to code both units and then align. This can be done via ncs and inpa. When units are virgin chassis is written at time of coding.

Solution 2

check your winkfp configuration
make sure it looks like this

Solution 3

Didn’t have the power supply conected with the right Volts.

The source power should be 12V

Solution 4

Your software is broken and please try to buy a new ICOM software from a reliable seller.

Sometimes winkfp error 211 occurs when you flashing a module,and flashen is aborted.Here I write this article to share you with solutions of how to solve WinKFP error 211.

Below picture show the WinKFP error 211.

Here I collect possible reasons,you need to check one by one.

1.Check WinKFP Configuration,and make sure you have configured it as below picture shows.

2.You need to reprogrammed mdules on the MOST bus by ICOM.If you use K+DCAN cable to reprograme,it maybe occur 211 error.

3.Just code both modules to default. You can use any profile which has manipulation disabled.

4.Make sure your car plugged to power supply to maintain proper voltage.

5.You need to code both units and then align.This can be done via ncs and inpa.When units are virgin chassis is written at time of coding.

6.Below show two config files,please replace those two files(backup yours) with those and try whether it is working.(before repalcing,pls save your original files)

Всем привет! Благодаря AlexandrBM был реанимирован блок JBE (JBBF), в подробности вдаваться не буду. Суть в том что был сбой при прошивке из за питания (мои предположения), потому что поднять блок удалось после стабилизации питания 14.5в!

Списавшись и созвонившись с AlexandrBM в назначенный день мы приступили к восстановлению (через удалёнку) точнее я наблюдал работу профессионала и вникал!

На протяжении часа блок не хотел писаться через winKFP, выкидывая 211 ошибку то на 3%, то на 6%, то на 5%! На что Александр сказал — ищи ICOM или разбирись с питанием, и он был прав!

Отступление. АКБ мой уже мёртв и реанимация зарядником надежд не оправдала, ждёт он замены с зп! Так вот уронив блок JBE, машина отстояла сутки и разрядилась в ноль. На момент поднятия блока был подключен зарядник (20А) напруга выставлена в ручную 14,5в! Но так как АКБ сдох, он поглощал электричество постоянно сбивая фиксированные настройки (зарядник выравнивал и подстраивал ток и напряжение для зарядки АКБ)!

Так вот отключив АКБ и оставив машину чисто на БП, где выставил 20А и 14,5В блок прошился с 1 раза (и да, отключил зажигание, оно было включего)! ТАДАААААМ!

Вот такой вот хеппи энд благодаря добрым Драйвовчанам! На этом не всё, будут ещё прошиваться остальные блоки, но это совсем другая история…

P.S. не думал что стабильность тока и вольтажа так критична для программирования BMW. Оказываеться при прошивки блок полностью загружаеться и просаживает цепь по току и напряжению! И если идёт просадка или не хватка (у официалов ставят БП на 80А по феншую) то идёт сбой, не выполнение условий для програмирования! Учтите, если кто не знал… Спасибо за внимание))

Error 209: UIF can not be read

Im trying to update my e46 updated my sp daten to v41
after clicking zb prog update in winkfp
i get Error 209: UIF can not be read

Solution:
The problem is the IFH-0018 error. Check EDIABAS.ini and ensure that the “interface=****” is appropriately configured for the interface type you are using. You also need to ensure that the DATEN files you are using are compatible with the version of EDIABAS you are running.

. Error 211: error 211 on flash programming

i was going to program my FRM using winkfp and i got this error and i dont know what it is please I need HELP!!

Solution:
check your winkfp configuration
make sure it looks like this

the 211 it was because i didn’t have the power supply connected with the right Volts.

. Error 106: error on setting ECU Adress

Solution:
I choose confort mode enter zub mine was 9204527 for frm2 then I enter vin click ok then zub update click done after that send me to other window and I hit prog.zub update and program successful! Then exit winkfp.
FRM is programmed correctly.

. Error 806: error on deleting assembly line data

I’ve got the cable from www.worldobd2.com like instructed by a few members in the DIY thread and installed INPA, DIS, winKFP and downloaded both V41 and V46 Data files for e60. Followed all of the instructions to a T in terms of installing software from the discs provided by the seller I got the cable from. When I do the assembly line import though into winkfp – I get this error message ( error 806 “deleting assembly line data”) with either V41 or V46 data files. It gets to about 94% of completion and then it stops .

Solution:
Try finding a Windows XP computer and install the BMW programs on it. It seems that anything higher than XP can sometimes run into issues with programming.

Try this it worked for another person with error 211

What to do? Through all of my web searches, I found that the default setting of WINKFP is «0» for both API Tracelevel and IFH Tracelevel (This is found under configuration)…I had changed these both to «1» per the initial setup instructions (Everything else the same as first post screen shot). Without any options I desperately change these two items back to the default «0». Press the «Program» — it then wrote perfectly FIRST time!!! Whoo Hooo!

Hmmm, this cable shouldn’t work properly with your car.

Can you check latency set on Serial Port COM? It should be set to 1.

For some reason when I check the com port settings on windows 8 it only allows me to set the com port to 1 there is not latency setting, which I find odd because when I tried to set it up on a windows 7 laptop the setting to adjust the latency was present

I’m attempting to flash a transmission that I took out of an 08 a/t 135i same year build within a couple months apart. Basically when I start the car the transmission is locked into safe mode because only 3rd gear is available neutral and reverse if I try to change gears with paddles or ds mode I notice the gears on the dashboard go up as in switching then just drop back down to 3rd. My theory is that the 135 software is written to the mcm so I’m trying to flash it to the alpina version to see if it’s a go.
