Hello, I’ve had this problem for over a year I think. EAC seems to not be able to load properly or have some problems running in general and always has that error that says «WaitForSingleObject failed: 2» This has been the case for EVERY game I tried to run with EAC. Dirty Bomb, Dead by Daylight, Paladins, Far Cry 5, etc. I’ve followed the advice of what I could find online including a fresh reinstall of windows and even reformatting the drive the games are on but nothing has worked. Anyone know anything about this? Also, after the initial launch of the game and error following it, if I try to relaunch the game it will fail but have a different issue in that it says «An application using Easy Anti Cheat is already running! (STOP_PENDING).» I went into the services tab in windows and tried forcing it to stop but it’s just stuck on «stopping» and I can’t even force end/remove it.

Отключите антивирусную программу
Ни для кого не секрет, что часто всему виной является антивирус. Только вот в случае с перечисленными ошибками лучше программу не просто отключить, а временно удалить. После чего попробовать запустить приложение. Однако если это не поможет, тогда сделайте следующее:
- Полностью удаляете приложение, чтобы не осталось никаких папок и остаточных файлов.
Отключите «Защитник Windows»
Помимо антивирусной программы, также следует попробовать отключить «Защитник Windows». Поскольку он тоже запросто может быть причиной появления этих ошибок. Для этого нужно сделать следующее:
- Открыть «Центр безопасности Защитника Windows» выбрать настройки нажать на раздел «Защита от вирусов и угроз».
Проверьте путь на наличие кириллицы
Обязательно проверьте, что путь к приложению не содержал наличие кириллицы. Причём стоит отметить, что наличие в адресе «Пользователи» никак не влияет на это. Так что если после «Пользователи» идёт кириллица, тогда придётся создавать нового локального пользователя, у которого имя будет иметь латинские буквы. В таком случае также, возможно, придётся переустановить и само приложение на новом пользователе.
Воспользуйтесь чистой загрузкой
Решить проблему в таком случае можно чистой загрузкой. Как правило, это помогает в тех случаях, когда ошибка появляется при запуске Windows 10. Поскольку причина практически всегда связана с какой-то определённой программой или службой, что находятся в автозагрузках.
- Открываете в Windows 10 окно «Параметры», используя меню
или сочетание клавиш
Проверьте целостность файлов
Вполне возможно, ошибка возникает из-за того что была повреждена целостность системных файлов. И для их проверки у Windows 10 существа два инструмента – DISM.exe с командой Repair-WindowsImage для PowerShell и SFC.exe. Мы рекомендуем воспользоваться последним, поскольку он наиболее привычный и простой. А осуществить проверку можно следующим образом:
- Откройте «Командную строку» от имени администратора (для этого в поиске просто введите «Командная строка).

Реестр в операционной системе Windows 10 – это большая база данных. И именно эти данные определяют свойства и поведение системы. Поэтому редактирование в нём иногда помогает избавиться от ошибок. Поэтому предлагаем воспользоваться нижеописанной инструкцией. Только перед тем, как начнёте что-то менять, убедитесь в наличие нужного раздела. Сделать это можно следующим образом:

Часто порты на компьютере закрыты, поэтому их следует открыть. Кроме того, перед настройкой нужно узнать номера портов, а для этого для начала потребуется узнать IP-адрес роутера.
Закрытые порты, или что делать, если игр не видно/не подключается?
Если вы заметили, что в Tunngle/Hamachi никого нет, да и в игре тоже различные косяки с соединением, то есть большая вероятность что у вас просто.
- Открываете окошко с командной строкой (открывается командой «cmd» в Пуске).
- Прописываете команду «ipconfig» (без кавычек).
- IP-адрес отобразится в строчке «Основной шлюз» .
- Открываете командную строку с помощью команды «cmd» в Пуске.
- Вновь прописываете команду «ipconfig » без кавычек.
- Запускаете команду «netstat -а» , после чего отобразится полный список с номерами портов.
- Обязательно следует убедиться в том, что вы обладаете правами администратора Windows.
Отсутствует DLL-файл или ошибка DLL

When I go to the EasyAntiCheat folder there is no .exe file in there. There’s actually nothing but another folder called «Certificates», and inside there is «game.bin» & «game» security certificate.
EDIT: Nevermind, I realize I was in the wrong EasyAntiCheat folder..how confusing.

I’ve been running into this same issue, but without resolution. I’ve run the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe, but nothing ever comes up after I approve it to make changes in my computer. I’ve tried launching it as Admin, same situation. I’ve re-installed, and I’ve validated local files, but I am still receiving this error.

Maybe try to restart your PC. EA service runs normally till the game gets closed but maybe there is some problem with that.

- Select ‘Anti-Virus’ -> ‘Advanced Settings’ -> ‘Tuning’
- Tick the ‘Skip Files/Folders’ checkbox
- Click the ‘Files/Folders’ hyperlink to bring up a selection
- Choose to exclude the Vermintide 2 directory

The LightingService executable belongs to a program called ASUS Aura Sync, which is considered suspicious by Easy Anti-Cheat due to it’s use of an old, exploitable driver. This consequently results in the ‘Game Security Violation Detected (#0000000D) [LightingService. exe]’ error.
We recommend that you disable ASUS Aura Sync via the Windows Task Manager prior to launching Vermintide 2.
Access is Denied
This error has been known to occur when a player has an RGB controller such as ASUS Aura Sync or RGB Fusion running on their PC. These are considered to be suspicious by Easy Anti-Cheat due to their use of old, exploitable drivers and may produce the error above.

Далее установите с сайта Nvidia, либо AMD, Driver booster и подобное ПО использовать нельзя.

Не забудьте перезагрузить ПК. Проверьте обновления системы, актуальная версия — 21Н1 и выше. Если результата нет, остается радикальный метод — переустановка Windows, используя образ с сайта Microsoft. Использовать пиратские сборки, корпоративную версию Windows не следует.

Easy Anti-Cheat can be installed or repaired using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable located in the Vermintide 2 ‘installers’ directory. The path to this directory on your PC will be similar to this:

The LightingService executable belongs to a program called ASUS Aura Sync, which is considered suspicious by Easy Anti-Cheat due to it’s use of an old, exploitable driver. This consequently results in the ‘Game Security Violation Detected (#0000000D) [LightingService. exe]’ error.
We recommend that you disable ASUS Aura Sync via the Windows Task Manager prior to launching Vermintide 2.
Access is Denied
This error has been known to occur when a player has an RGB controller such as ASUS Aura Sync or RGB Fusion running on their PC. These are considered to be suspicious by Easy Anti-Cheat due to their use of old, exploitable drivers and may produce the error above.

Удалите (если не поможет заморозка, исключения) стороннее антивирусное ПО (Касперский, Аваст и т.п.), сторонние файрволы, Adguard, Wallpaper engine, MSI Afterburner, MSI Mystic light и аналогичные, для управления подсветкой и блокировки рекламы. Добавьте папки с GTAV и RAGEMP в исключения защитника Windows. Отключите защиту в реальном времени. Отключите, либо удалите ПО от Razer если установлено. Также Process Lasso и Park Control, Memreduct, Advanced system care и подобные. Также отключите Xbox game bar и его оверлей, повтор xbox, оверлей дискорд, удалите betterdiscord, отключите оверлей стим и прочие оверлеи, кроме geforce experience/AMD Relive
Убедитесь, что наш лаунчер и мультиплеер RAGE установлены адекватно, например в c:GamesRAGEMP, а не в папку с игрой, документы, onedrive, на рабочий стол и т.п. При этом в настройках нашего лаунчера, не должен быть указан путь до GTA V.
Удалите, затем снова установите Rockstar games launcher на диск С: по стандартному пути установки (Должно получиться C:Program FilesRockstar GamesLauncher), сделайте полную проверку файлов GTA V. Если использовали модификаций (Redux, reshade, ENB, «замененки», проверка файлов может не помочь)
Завершите процессы античитов других игр, либо удалите данные игры.
Скачайте данный файл и закиньте его в папку RAGEMP/EasyAntiCheat, после чего запустите его.

My problem is that the game fails to launch and shows up 30004 Error WaitForSingleObject failed:2. I have no idea what to do about it. Asked support but it didnt help they told me to delete files from appdata/roaming/origin folder and all files from programdata/origin except localcontent folder. Did everything I could the game is still not working. Anyone had the same problem and has the solution?

Hi. I have the same issue and sent an email to Easyanticheat. Unfortunately, their response was not helpful in my case but maybe you will have more luck. Hope this helps
The cause to this error is the current Windows installation somehow being in a corrupted state. For some reason a simple file operation that should take less than a second is taking over half a minute and timing out, resulting in the error. As the first step, please use the Windows Update to ensure that your Windows is fully up-to-date. After installing all available Windows updates, verify all system files explicitly by running the following command in command prompt as Administrator : sfc /scannow .
If the problem persists after updating Windows, we recommend running an anti-virus scan as it is possible that the system has been infected by a virus. You can use for example the free Malwarebytes anti-rootkit scan to check this.
Lastly, if the error still persists, you may need to use the Windows System Restore function to revert your computer to a previously working state. Unfortunately, after having investigated this extremely rare issue on few end-user PCs, we have not been able to identify the specific cause to what makes the system stall the failing operation for such long time period without no apparent reason.

I had this same problem, but I only had to update my Graphics Drivers and it started working

Also have this problem. Seems to be a corruption with EasyAntiCheat. Un-and-reinstalled everything, from EAC, to the game, to Origin, to Windows 10 itself. No bueno. Ran the SFC scan before and after every update, and the problem still persists, even with a complete reinstall of the entire system. It’s a shame that Star Wars: Squadrons requires Windows 10. I’d try Windows 8, but at this point, I’m ready to walk away from PC Gaming and switch to a console. Gaming should not be like tearing apart a car that was never designed to work, anyway.

well archeage, doesnt matter if trion/gamigo, were always the worst support. they are totally useless and probably not even 1 is working from them.
here, what helped me:
deactivate your antivirus for 15mins (i know, it sounds shady XDDD) and it works perfectly. if it doesnt, restart pc, then deactivate antivirus, start glyph/ then aa.
worked for me. (if it works, you could also try to figure out, where exactly the problem lies, so you wont need to deactivate your antivirus^^)

I have multiple solutions for the
EAC Error 30004 WaitForSingleObject Failed Error: 2
First of all «sfc /scannow» will work sometimes, so try it first.
You can Reinstall DbD too, or you can run EAC and DbD as an administrator.
when the Error still appears follow the next steps.
- Do all Windows Updates — Didnt work? Next step
- Update your Hardware (Graphic, Mainboard (sometimes), . ) — No? Next
- Reinstall EAC -> Go to your DbD folder and delete the EAC setup and you need to delete your EAC installed folder (in program files),
after you need to repair the game (in steam u can repair it in the settings of DbD, rightclick on the game and go to the settings) — Still dont work? - Try to delete the sys data from EAC
C:WindowsSystem32drivers and search for EasyAntiCheat.sys (make a copy of it on your desktop to be sure you dont loose it)
if you can run it now, delete the file on your desktop — It still wont to work. - Open cmd in Windows as an administrator
now you write following commands first:
1. bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF
2. bcdedit.exe -set NOINTEGRITYCHECKS OFF
now you need to restart your computer.
If the Error still appears you need to Reinstall Windows 10, Error 30004 appears than because your Windows is corrupted.

Убедитесь, что наш лаунчер и мультиплеер RAGE установлены адекватно, например в c:GamesRAGEMP, а не в папку с игрой, документы, onedrive, на рабочий стол и т.п. При этом в настройках нашего лаунчера, не должен быть указан путь до GTA V.
Удалите, затем снова установите Rockstar games launcher на диск С: по стандартному пути установки (Должно получиться C:Program FilesRockstar GamesLauncher), сделайте полную проверку файлов GTA V. Если использовали модификаций (Redux, reshade, ENB, «замененки», проверка файлов может не помочь)
Завершите процессы античитов других игр, либо удалите данные игры.
Скачайте данный файл и закиньте его в папку RAGEMP/EasyAntiCheat, после чего запустите его.

My problem is that the game fails to launch and shows up 30004 Error WaitForSingleObject failed:2. I have no idea what to do about it. Asked support but it didnt help they told me to delete files from appdata/roaming/origin folder and all files from programdata/origin except localcontent folder. Did everything I could the game is still not working. Anyone had the same problem and has the solution?

Hi. I have the same issue and sent an email to Easyanticheat. Unfortunately, their response was not helpful in my case but maybe you will have more luck. Hope this helps
The cause to this error is the current Windows installation somehow being in a corrupted state. For some reason a simple file operation that should take less than a second is taking over half a minute and timing out, resulting in the error. As the first step, please use the Windows Update to ensure that your Windows is fully up-to-date. After installing all available Windows updates, verify all system files explicitly by running the following command in command prompt as Administrator : sfc /scannow .
If the problem persists after updating Windows, we recommend running an anti-virus scan as it is possible that the system has been infected by a virus. You can use for example the free Malwarebytes anti-rootkit scan to check this.
Lastly, if the error still persists, you may need to use the Windows System Restore function to revert your computer to a previously working state. Unfortunately, after having investigated this extremely rare issue on few end-user PCs, we have not been able to identify the specific cause to what makes the system stall the failing operation for such long time period without no apparent reason.

Also have this problem. Seems to be a corruption with EasyAntiCheat. Un-and-reinstalled everything, from EAC, to the game, to Origin, to Windows 10 itself. No bueno. Ran the SFC scan before and after every update, and the problem still persists, even with a complete reinstall of the entire system. It’s a shame that Star Wars: Squadrons requires Windows 10. I’d try Windows 8, but at this point, I’m ready to walk away from PC Gaming and switch to a console. Gaming should not be like tearing apart a car that was never designed to work, anyway.

well archeage, doesnt matter if trion/gamigo, were always the worst support. they are totally useless and probably not even 1 is working from them.
here, what helped me:
deactivate your antivirus for 15mins (i know, it sounds shady XDDD) and it works perfectly. if it doesnt, restart pc, then deactivate antivirus, start glyph/ then aa.
worked for me. (if it works, you could also try to figure out, where exactly the problem lies, so you wont need to deactivate your antivirus^^)

I have multiple solutions for the
EAC Error 30004 WaitForSingleObject Failed Error: 2
First of all «sfc /scannow» will work sometimes, so try it first.
You can Reinstall DbD too, or you can run EAC and DbD as an administrator.
when the Error still appears follow the next steps.
- Do all Windows Updates — Didnt work? Next step
- Update your Hardware (Graphic, Mainboard (sometimes), . ) — No? Next
- Reinstall EAC -> Go to your DbD folder and delete the EAC setup and you need to delete your EAC installed folder (in program files),
after you need to repair the game (in steam u can repair it in the settings of DbD, rightclick on the game and go to the settings) — Still dont work? - Try to delete the sys data from EAC
C:WindowsSystem32drivers and search for EasyAntiCheat.sys (make a copy of it on your desktop to be sure you dont loose it)
if you can run it now, delete the file on your desktop — It still wont to work. - Open cmd in Windows as an administrator
now you write following commands first:
1. bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF
2. bcdedit.exe -set NOINTEGRITYCHECKS OFF
now you need to restart your computer.
If the Error still appears you need to Reinstall Windows 10, Error 30004 appears than because your Windows is corrupted.

The cause to this error is the current Windows installation somehow being in a corrupted state. For some reason a simple file operation that should take less than a second is taking over half a minute and timing out, resulting in the error. As the first step, please use the Windows Update to ensure that your Windows is fully up-to-date. After installing all available Windows updates, verify all system files explicitly by running the following command in command prompt
as Administrator
: sfc /scannow.
If the problem persists after updating Windows, we recommend running an anti-virus scan as it is possible that the system has been infected by a virus. You can use for example the free Malwarebytes anti-rootkit scan to check this.
Lastly, if the error still persists, you may need to use the Windows System Restore function to revert your computer to a previously working state. Unfortunately, after having investigated this extremely rare issue on few end-user PCs, we have not been able to identify the specific cause to what makes the system stall the failing operation for such long time period without no apparent reason.
