Hi all.
Just been trying out 3d max 2009 and was installing Vray on it.
had some problems like
DLL failed to intialize.
error code 126 — specific module could not be found.
there after I got this message
DLL is not made for this version of the program — not loading
and it appears for other vray parts such as vraydomecamera90.dlo….vrayfur90.dlo..vrayphysicalcamera90.dlo….vrayplane.dlo…
and so on.
How do I get rid of all this message even after I uninstalled vray?
Hope somebody can help!

that’s what you get when you try to open a file with vray content but the machine is missing the vray plugin files…. either you have the wrong version of vray, or it isn’t installed at all.
Either install vray….. Or if you are trying to render in a different engine, you’ll need to strip the scene of all the vray elements…(materials, lights, environment maps, etc..)

I’ve actually just installed a fresh copy of 3dmax 2009 and vray. Its just basically opening up 3D max 2009 which gives me the above errors.
if its the wrong version of vray and I’ve uninstalled it. how is it that the errors still appear? Can something be done to 3d max 2009 so that it doesn’t load vray? Its like trying to open vray but vray has been uninstalled.

max will still load vray stuff if you have it set that way in your user preferences.
look in… customize > custom UI and defaults switcher…..
make sure it’s not set to vray

Vray- Error 126 vrender2009.dlr
Hi,
I’m french and i have a problem with my 3Ds Max 2009 — 32BIT
I installed a Vray Demo for 2009-32B.. next i installed a Vray version (not a demo) and a bug appear…
Error Loading DLLs:
C:\******\3DS MAX 2009\Plugins\vrender2009.dlr > Failed to initialize.
Error code 126 — le module spécifié est introuvable (in english: Can’t found….)
I uninstall Vray but the error is here… i delete all Vray files, Uninstall 3Ds Max but the error is always here…
How delete this error and install Vray without it?
Please HELP

Ask the vray site they maybe able to help you with that error link www.chaosgroup.com/

Bugs related to the Octane Engine itself should be posted into the Standalone Support sub-forum.

Guys, good afternoon! After reinstalling 3ds Max and Octane, an error began to appear:
DLL <C:3ds Max3ds Max 2021PlugInsOctane3dsmax.dlr> failed to initialize.
Error code 126 — The pecified could not be found.
Reinstalling the plugin and the 3ds Max program does not help.
This file is in the folder specified in the error.
Version Octane: OctaneRender_for_3ds_Max_4.05_-_6.35
Versions 3Ds Max on which Octane was installed Octane: 2019, 2020, 2021.
What to do? How to solve the problem?

The problem was solved by installing the Octane version — OctaneRender_for_3ds_Max_4.05_-_6.34

Hi all.

Я скачал и установил DungeonSiege2 Tool Kit. Тама есть набор плагинов для шестого макса. При загрузке 3Ds Max мне выдает ошибку загрузки dll: «DLL Crogram Files\Dungeon Siege2Tool Kit\Siege Max\Plugins6\DSRaw.bmi Failed to initialize. Error code 126 — Не найден указанный модуль» и «DLL C

Подскажите плиз, где мне найти требуемый ему модуль или как посмотреть, какой ему модуль нужен. А то мне нравиться моделить шмотки для разных игр и хотел бы для Dungeon’a что-нить смоделировать.
такое бывает если плаг не для той версии или он установился не в папку плугинс макса
а создал еще одну папку плугинс там же или система защиты либо не активизирована либо глючит
но по практике если заглючило при установке толку не будет при работе глюки останутся.
а про такой плаг не слыхал шмотки -это тряпки что ли 8 макс все это сам может говорят
ставь и избавишся от глюков..наверное
Спасибо за парочку советов, попробую. Плагин точно для той версии, тама написанно что для 6 макса. Файлы плагина лежат не в его дерриктории, попробую берекинуть. Восьмой мне не поможет т.к. плагин позволяет импортить и экспортить в определенный формат, именно тот, который поддерживает игра.
