Was able to release the stuck print heads by watching your video, then did the reset by taking the cartidges out and unplugging/ replugging and replacing cartridges but STILL getting this error code saying the print head is missing or not detected or incorrectly installed.
What’s left to do?
These print heads have literally been catching since I bought the thing, and now the final straw.

Service mode.

Вообще у аппарата пробег 1300стр всего лишь. По сути то он хорош, но только когда у него конкретное ТЗ и объемы работы есть. В случае простоя может случиться эпичный денежный дождь.
В общем я тоже думаю что башка у него в утиль.

Just from Googling about, the 0xc6fd0013 is an issue with the ink system. Could he the print heads have they tried reseting them? Even some canned air could resolve this.
I’m not familiar with this printer but there’s usually diagnostic utilities on the printer itself. Have they tried going through the usual realignments and such?

Are you using HP genuine cartridges? Are they correct type? Are they installed
in correct slots? Do they sit properly?
If the cartridges are new, make sure all the protective tapes and covers have
been removed.
Use lint-free material to wipe the contacts on the ink cartridge.Ensure that the printbar flex cables are inserted correctly in the main PCA.
The main PCA could be defective although this is rare.

My suggestion is to lean hard on HP. This error code is related to a failure called printer bar delamination. At one point they were replacing units that were throwing this code, regardless of warranty status and proper persuasion will likely have favorable results.

@Gregjones, you’re welcome. We look forward to your update. As @The.RepairTrooper indicated at one point, particularly for the first generation models, HP was replacing these units. Unfortunately, currently, if the units are out of warranty the Support Team has not been so generous.

One other thing, in regards to the warranty checker, if the unit was never registered properly as sold, then the warranty date is based on date it left distribution so with proof of purchase you may still have warranty coverage. Have client produce POP to confirm warranty expiration. If only days in most cases HP is very flexible.

I couldnt seem to find a Service Manual for the OJ Pro x476w either. This is typically the case for OfficeJet products but I was under the assumption that HP was going to release a service manual for the Pro X series since its more enterprise-like than the normal OJs.
I also do not seem to be able to view the normal user guide from HPs site at this time. My hope was to search through it for clues on how to complete the reseating of the printheads as there is usually a small maintnenance section included in the documentation.
Considering the nature of this problem and what I have heard from HP engineers the printhead array for this printer should have a lifespan that outlasts the printer. There is supposed to be enough printheads on the array to backup eachother in the case of failures that users arent supposed to notice the difference. Even through the printer is out of warranty HP might be interested in helping you with the print head array. I would give them a call and see if they can offer you any assistance.
Another idea would be to find a parts seller and ask them if they have a replacement printhead array for your printer. If they do then they might have some instructions on how to install it that you could use to reseat your current array. Googling around I wasnt able to find any replacement parts online so this might be a good reason to call HP and ask for suggestions on where to find replacement parts.

Re: Hp pagewide pro 477-code:0xc6fd0013
Hi there!
Try running the level2 (level 1isnt good for this issue!) 2 -6 times and look if black is coming back. If not you can forget the machine. Ive «burried» 6 of this machines in 1 year.
Greetings…
