  3. GAP (DieCut)- There is a uniform gap between labels.
2. The Mark II printer has 3 different settings for Sensor Type:
  1. CONT – for Continuous labels
  2. REFL – for Mark style labels
  3. EDGE – for GAP style labels
3. Make sure that the sensor type setting on the printer matches the type of labels.
Calibrate the printer
1. Ensure that the printer is ON and in an idle state (i.e., not off-line) with media loaded, the media sensor adjusted, and the sensor type selected.Press and hold the FEED Key until one label has been output then release the key and wait for the printer to process the data.
2. CALIBRATION COMPLETE – will be displayed, and the media will be advanced to the next top of form if calibration was successful
Software Settings
1. CODESOFT: From menu bar: File / Label/Page Setup / Label
2. LABELVIEW: From menu bar: File / Label/Page Setup / Label tab
Printer Driver Settings
1. This option requires you to look into the settings for the printer driver. Depending on the author, the feature you need to check can be buried deep within the driver properties. For example;

Описание проблемы

Принтер Datamax после включения моргает индикаторами. Через некоторое время горит только красный индикатор справа.

Пробую печатать – ничего не происходит. При нажатии на кнопку под лампочками , протягивает одну этикетку и начинает моргать красным все тот же индикатор справа.

Возможное решение

В настойка принтера Datamax или в настройках драйвера Datamax поменяйте тип печати с Direct thermal на Termo transfer (или наоборот).

Возможно, вам потребуется программа NETira для настройка принтера датамакс.

Если лампочки загораются по очереди: Status (зеленым): Мигает зеленым и красным, потом выключается и затем индикатор Error моргает красным и выключается + кнопка Печать не реагирует на нажатие — проверьте блок питания принтера и его выходное напряжение и силу тока (24В, 2.5А).

Там я уже смотрел, но ничего вразумительного не нашол, у меня при загрузке на дисплее высвечивает РА11 (может это к модели относится), а когда загружается «Position Fault» и значек «Error» красный мигает.

«Position Fault» по докам:
прижать FEED, пока не полезут этикетки.
после этого должен сказать Ready.

если не сказал:
проверить, что датчик границы этикетки выставлен под ленту,
прочистить датчик этикетки,
проверить шлейф до датчика.

для 2-3 потребуется разборка.

у меня тоже пишет Position Fault, скорей всего надо поменять границы ленты, пролазил все настройки, но где бы не менял ничего не помагает. Подскажите где это и как настроить? Плиз!

У меня такое было на термотрансферном принтере. Когда сбили файлом этикетки настройку принтера с ПРЯМОЙ ТЕРМОПЕЧАТИ на ТЕРМОПЕРЕНОС. Если принтер термотрансферный, посмотри в первую очередь эту настройку в меню управления принтером (этот принтер в глаза не видел, но думаю он там есть). На моем принтере пункт меню назывался, что-то типа, способ печати.

Прошу помощи. При включении принтера Datamax I-4208 проходит селфтест, появляется «Ready» НО оранжевый индикатор не горит постоянно а мигает.. На дисплее пишет READY. Ничего не печатает, в компе задания уходят на принтер бкз ошибок и как бы распечатываются. Если это в прошивке дело, то где скачать и какой программой прошить? На дисплее при включении показывает PA11. Печатал и все хорошо было, потом резко в отказ. Напряга5ет именно мигание оранжевого индиватора Ready.

Problem Description

The printer could not find the TOF within the Maximum label length setting , or TOF occurred in an unexpected place.

Note:

When using reflective media, this fault is given for an Out of Stock condition.

Corrective Action

If media is moving:

1) Press the FEED Key. it may be necessary to re-calibrate the printer;

2) The Media Sensor may be out of Position. Readjust it;

3) The media may not be properly loaded. Reload Media, ensuring that the Media Guide is properly positioned;

4) The Leveling Cam may be improperly adjusted;

5) The label may be longer than the value entered. Check the Media Settings/Maximum Label length;

6) The Media Sensor may be obstructed. Check and carefully remove any obstruction (labels, paper, dust, adhesive, etc).

If media is not moving:

The printhead assembly may not be locked.

• Verify that the AC power cord connection has been made at both the

outlet and the printer.

• Verify that the AC outlet is functioning, or try moving the printer to another

AC circuit.

• The AC cord or External Power Supply may be damaged; replace it.

• Printer is paused; Press the control button.

• Out of stock fault detected; Ensure the

appropriate for media being used.

• Top of form fault detected due to missing label(s). Maximum label length

has been exceeded before detecting a label edge; Check for properly load

media and press the control button to feed to next label.

• Top of form fault detected due to improper Top of Form sensing selection;

Change sensing appropriate for the media in use with printer driver

properties or using Datamax Printer Configuration Utility (DMXConfig).

• Top of form fault detected due to improper Maximum Label Length for

• Present sensor is enabled but the Present sensor switch is in the OFF

position; Move the present sensor switch to the ON position.

• Presented label detected; Remove presented label.

• No communication from host computer to printer; Check cable

connections and printer driver setup/port selection.

• Label backing wrapped around platen roller;
