Добрый день. Во многих случаях причина действительно кроется в датчике положения селектора. Также часто такая ошибка возникает при разряде аккумуляторной батареи, как правило это происходит под занавес его срока службы, поэтому заряд не помогает, только замена. Поэтому в первую очередь проверьте напряжение АКБ (это наименее затратное и простое из возможных вариантов), если с ним всё в норме, то подключайте диагностику.

the selector lever is in a position other than «P», the
master warning light flashes, a beep sounds inside the
