[Help] Getting stuck on Error code: -78 while trying to jailbreak with checkrain


Question

Yesterday I jailbroke my iPhone 8 on iOS 12.4 using checkrain but when I tried adding sources in Cydia a lot of important packages simply wouldn’t show up (like Apple file conduit arm64 and cydia substrate). So I went into the checkrain app and clicked restore. Today while trying to jailbreak again on Ubuntu I’m running into this error after successfully entering DFU mode:

«Error. Run as root maybe? (Error code: -78)»

Does anyone know what the problem is?

iPhone ошибка 78 что делать

Всем привет сегодня будем разбираться с ошибкой 78 которая появляется при обнавлении или восстановлении iPhone. Ошибка интересная, информации по ней очень мало и в этой статье мы попробуем как-то проанализировать данную ошибку 78 и дать определенные советы.

Что делать, когда проявляется ошибка 78 iPhone

1. Первое убеждаемся, что у вас оригинальный и не поврежденный кабель, iTunes обновлён до последней версии, используется USB порт 2.0 он черного цвета, если есть рядом другой компьютер, то пробуем восстановиться на ней.

2. Затем заходим в DFU режим и пробуем восстановиться через него. Для входа в данный режим отключаем iPhone потом нажмаем и держием десять секунд физические кнопки «Home» и «Power». Потом сразу отпускаем клавишу питания, но продолжаем держать «Home» до тех пор, пока в iTunes не появится сообщение «Recovery Mode» . Это может занять от 15 до 30 секунд. Далее следуем инструкции на экране.

3. Еще один вариант устанавливаем программу 3uTools и восстанавливаемся через его.

  • Подключите устройство к ПК по USB и запускаем последнюю версию 3uTools.
  • Переходим на вкладку Прошивка и JB далее Прошивка, и выбераем нужную прошивку. Если вы хотите сохранить данные на устройстве, ставим галочку напротив Quick Flash Mode. Затем нажимаем зеленую кнопку Прошивка.
  • 3uTools автоматически прошьет ваше устройство. Прошивка займет примерно от 5 до 10 минут.

4. Если есть возможность разобрать iPhone, то разбираем его и достаем аккумулятор ждем некоторое время вставляем аккумулятор обратно и пробуем восстановиться . Так же можно попробовать установить другой аккумулятор.

5. Еще парочку экстремальный вариантов можно попробовать оставить смартфон на несколько минуть в морозилке после попробовать восстановить или наоборот снять экран и слегка его погреть феном (без фанатизма).

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. Start checkra1n tool
  2. Follow all steps
  3. On installing jailbreak page of the checkra1n tool I have gotten the 3 codes that are in the title. Which are Error code: -21, Error code: -77, Error code: -78. I have had one other issue that I have gotten no error code on. It will actually show on my device the checkra1n logo and the writing going down the screen. Like it’s jailbreaking. But when my device reboots there is no checkra1n app, so I can’t install cydia. On the checkra1n tool it’s like it gets stuck on Entered Download mode, or right before trigger. These are all of the known issues I have been fighting with trying to jailbreak my iPhone 7 on iOS 13.3.1 with Linux.

What do you expect, and what is happening instead?
I expect it to fully go through the process of jailbreaking and install the checkra1n app on my iPhone.

Does the issue also occur if you enable Safe Mode?
Haven’t tried to jailbreak the iPhone with safe mode enabled.

This article will tell you how to fix the checkra1n jailbreak error getting passcode state, fix the checkra1n error connecting to lockdownd, and fix the checkra1n jailbreak freeze issue on iPhone 7, 7 Plus, iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X on your Windows machine using the checkra1n 0.12.4.

Step 1. Connect the device with the computer and trust

Step 2. Turn off passcode faceid

If you are on iPhone 8 , iPhone 8 plus , and iPhone X , you must first turn off your passcode from the settings.

If you have a face ID or a fingerprint enabled, just put it off; you need to do all these steps, and you can proceed to the jailbreak.

Step 3. Enable skip BPR check

You need to put your device into DFU mode and put the device in DFU mode, not in recovery mode.

DFU Mode iPhone X or iPhone 8 – checkra1n iOS 14.8 jailbreak :

  1. Press and hold the Side button for almost 6 seconds, then release it.
  2. Now immediately press, press, and hold the volume down button and the side button together for 3 seconds.

  2. After 10 seconds, release the side button, and keep pressing the home button for at least 5-8 seconds.

Once your device is in recovery mode, you can also check the status on the checkra1n jailbreak screen that your device gets into DFU mode or not.

Step 5. Reconnect device

Now you need to disconnect your device and connect it back.

Checkra1n Linux Error Code 78? #826

I’ve been jailbreaking my iPhone with checkra1n on linux with macOS for a while now but since the linux version has came out I’ve switched to that. First of all my iPhone 8+ hasn’t been able to be jailbroken for a while now. Every time I try to jailbreak I get no error it’s just the apple logo pops up, stays there for about a minute or two, and then my phone restarts unjailbroken. I don’t know if it’s a tweak or not but yeah, here’s my issue now. I’m trying to jailbreak with linux and when I try to boot into safe mode to remove a tweak because maybe it’s a tweak not letting me jailbreak, I get this error code. «Error. Run as root maybe? (Error Code: -78)». If anyone could help me on this because I really want to jailbreak my iPhone 8+ and I haven’t been able to at all since December that would be great. Thank you.

Update: I just ran checkra1n in CLI mode and this is what I see. https://imgur.com/a/oizE38N

It says that and then gets stuck at the checkra1n boot logo, before restarting after a few minutes and booting into an unjailbroken device. One good thing is that it let me boot into safe mode when I plugged my iPhone cord into a USB 2.0 port instead of a 3.0 port. So if it has anything to do with a tweak or something then that’s good. Please someone help me jailbreak my phone again!

i have an iphone 6 plus wich had touch issue, intermittent only
i apply just a little piece af tape and it works normally
as it was discharged, i charged it but i forgot to plug in the battery

so i disconnected the iphone from wall charger, plug the battery and now i have and apple logo and then only backlight without display

when i plug to PC, itunes says me there’s a problem, need to update bla bla

but when it starts to update itunes says me error 78 !

Всем привет сегодня будем разбираться с ошибкой 78 которая появляется при обнавлении или восстановлении iPhone. Ошибка интересная, информации по ней очень мало и в этой статье мы попробуем как-то проанализировать данную ошибку 78 и дать определенные советы.

Что делать, когда проявляется ошибка 78 iPhone

1. Первое убеждаемся, что у вас оригинальный и не поврежденный кабель, iTunes обновлён до последней версии, используется USB порт 2.0 он черного цвета, если есть рядом другой компьютер, то пробуем восстановиться на ней.

2. Затем заходим в DFU режим и пробуем восстановиться через него. Для входа в данный режим отключаем iPhone потом нажмаем и держием десять секунд физические кнопки «Home» и «Power». Потом сразу отпускаем клавишу питания, но продолжаем держать «Home» до тех пор, пока в iTunes не появится сообщение «Recovery Mode» . Это может занять от 15 до 30 секунд. Далее следуем инструкции на экране.

3. Еще один вариант устанавливаем программу 3uTools и восстанавливаемся через его.

  • Подключите устройство к ПК по USB и запускаем последнюю версию 3uTools.
  • Переходим на вкладку Прошивка и JB далее Прошивка, и выбераем нужную прошивку. Если вы хотите сохранить данные на устройстве, ставим галочку напротив Quick Flash Mode. Затем нажимаем зеленую кнопку Прошивка.
  • 3uTools автоматически прошьет ваше устройство. Прошивка займет примерно от 5 до 10 минут.

4. Если есть возможность разобрать iPhone, то разбираем его и достаем аккумулятор ждем некоторое время вставляем аккумулятор обратно и пробуем восстановиться . Так же можно попробовать установить другой аккумулятор.

5. Еще парочку экстремальный вариантов можно попробовать оставить смартфон на несколько минуть в морозилке после попробовать восстановить или наоборот снять экран и слегка его погреть феном (без фанатизма).

Tell us about your setup:

  1. What iDevice are you using? iPhone 7
  2. On what version of iOS is it? 13.3.1
  3. What version of checkra1n are you using? GUI or CLI? 0.9.8
  4. What is your host system (OS version? Hackintosh? VM? etc.)? Linux or Xubuntu
  5. How are you connecting to the device (USB-A? USB-C? Apple/3rd party cable? Through a USB hub?)? Lighting cable

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. Start checkra1n tool
  2. Follow all steps
  3. On installing jailbreak page of the checkra1n tool I have gotten the 3 codes that are in the title. Which are Error code: -21, Error code: -77, Error code: -78. I have had one other issue that I have gotten no error code on. It will actually show on my device the checkra1n logo and the writing going down the screen. Like it’s jailbreaking. But when my device reboots there is no checkra1n app, so I can’t install cydia. On the checkra1n tool it’s like it gets stuck on Entered Download mode, or right before trigger. These are all of the known issues I have been fighting with trying to jailbreak my iPhone 7 on iOS 13.3.1 with Linux.

What do you expect, and what is happening instead?
I expect it to fully go through the process of jailbreaking and install the checkra1n app on my iPhone.

Does the issue also occur if you enable Safe Mode?
Haven’t tried to jailbreak the iPhone with safe mode enabled.

Checkra1n Linux Error Code 78? #826

I’ve been jailbreaking my iPhone with checkra1n on linux with macOS for a while now but since the linux version has came out I’ve switched to that. First of all my iPhone 8+ hasn’t been able to be jailbroken for a while now. Every time I try to jailbreak I get no error it’s just the apple logo pops up, stays there for about a minute or two, and then my phone restarts unjailbroken. I don’t know if it’s a tweak or not but yeah, here’s my issue now. I’m trying to jailbreak with linux and when I try to boot into safe mode to remove a tweak because maybe it’s a tweak not letting me jailbreak, I get this error code. «Error. Run as root maybe? (Error Code: -78)». If anyone could help me on this because I really want to jailbreak my iPhone 8+ and I haven’t been able to at all since December that would be great. Thank you.

Update: I just ran checkra1n in CLI mode and this is what I see. https://imgur.com/a/oizE38N

It says that and then gets stuck at the checkra1n boot logo, before restarting after a few minutes and booting into an unjailbroken device. One good thing is that it let me boot into safe mode when I plugged my iPhone cord into a USB 2.0 port instead of a 3.0 port. So if it has anything to do with a tweak or something then that’s good. Please someone help me jailbreak my phone again!

i have an iphone 6 plus wich had touch issue, intermittent only
i apply just a little piece af tape and it works normally
as it was discharged, i charged it but i forgot to plug in the battery

so i disconnected the iphone from wall charger, plug the battery and now i have and apple logo and then only backlight without display

when i plug to PC, itunes says me there’s a problem, need to update bla bla

but when it starts to update itunes says me error 78 !

Ошибки в джейлбрейк-инструменте checkra1n? Что делать

Вы уже наверняка слышали о выходе нового джейлбрейк-инструмента checkra1n. Он создан на основе эксплойта checkm8, который подходит для всех версий системы на iPhone 5s – iPhone X. Более того, это первый публичный джейлбрейк с поддержкой iOS 13.

Однако многие пользователи сообщают о проблемах с вводом устройства в режим DFU и установкой джейлбрейка в целом. Чаще всего возникает «Ошибка 20» или же джейлбрейк не действует вообще.

Баги присутствуют, поскольку это публичная бета-версия инструмента. Однако, как оказалось, большинство проблем могут исправить два простых шага:

  • Используйте кабель USB-A/Lightning, а не USB-C/Lightning для подключения устройства к компьютеру.
  • Вводите устройство в режимDFU, когда инструкция появится на экране, а не заранее.

Команда checkra1n официально объявила о том, что при установке инструмента нельзя использовать кабель USB-C/Lightning. Похоже, он мешает вводу устройства в режим DFU. Особенно актуальна проблема для кабелей от Apple, но она может возникать и со сторонними кабелями.

Если же вы используете кабель USB-A/Lightning, проблемы должны исчезнуть.

Многие зачем-то вводят свои устройства в режим DFU заранее, но делать этого не надо. Именно из-за этого и возникают проблемы.

Команда checkra1n даже обновила инструкцию с вводом в режим DFU, сделав её понятнее. Теперь всё должно получаться с первого раза.

Если у вас возникали проблемы с установкой джейлбрейка, мы рекомендуем последовать двум советам выше и попробовать ещё раз.

Не забывайте, что инструмент checkra1n – это всё ещё бета, так что багов не избежать. Мы советуем подождать выхода финальной версии. Если же вы не можете ждать, у нас есть инструкция по установке джейлбрейка checkra1n.

I’ve been building a golang app with system tray GUI. I wanted launchctl to run my program whenever I log in. Program compiles and runs without any error, however, when launchctl runs it, I see this: Service exited with abnormal code: 78. Perhaps it has something to do with rights.

  • First I tried to set rights of a current user to both plist file and the binary. Still error 78.

  • Then I changed the rights of plist file and the binary to root and run sudo launchctl. I still see error 78.

/var/log/system.log has this errors:

When I run the binary manually, the icon of the app appears on the system tray, as expected.

There’s one interesting moment – if I manually type launchctl load -w com.test.test.plist, app runs nicely – until the reboot. After I reboot, launchctl throws 78 error.

Why is this happening?

Доброго дня надеюсь на вашу помощь.Все началось месяц назад.Начала появляться сообщение об ошибке при загрузке.И для 3 назад перестал запускаться googlechrome. Я подумал что нужно запустить приложение «Системный монитор» и глянуть «чо ково». Но и она при запуске сразу закрывалось.Полез в поисках информации, перерыл все что было.Так же перестал запускатся VirtualBox. Сервера пробывал менять. Все команды которые содержат в себе update и apt-get(я еще новичок так что не кидайте помидоры в меня если что то не так написал) почти сразу закрывают все открытые терминалы.
Ниже напишу ответы на пару команд.

Так….
Вообщем я только что узнал что такое pgrep и его значение -a -f , так же на сколько я понял он должен отобразить все процесcы google.

6244 sudo pgrep -af googleвот что выдает…. тогда я полумал что у меня возможно нету этой программы…да и даже если захочу я ее наврятле установлю.Как и писал выше вылетает из терминала.
Тогда я вспомнил что у меня есть htop. Запустил его нажал F4(Filter) и ввел слово google.Но уже после 2 буквы небыло никаких активных дейсвий. также пробывал и

sudo htop подумал может что то изменить но увы(((
Если вожна имена информация из  pgrep и это что то соовсем иное и супер крутое непохожее на htop отведте и я погружусь в поиски…..

ну и по теме:
а нефиг пытаться запускать хром с правами рута (да и вообще любое ПО, да и работать под рутом не стоит)! из этого и следуют обе ваши проблемы:
1)

sudo google-chrome-stable --no-sandbox
2)

sudo chown -R $USER:$USER $HOME/.config
google-chrome-stable

Пока искал решение данной проблемы уже понял для чего на самом деле ставится Linux.
И я потратил не 1час и не даже не день на поиски решения надой проблемы.
Прошу вас не нужно агресии в мою сторону)))я и переводчиком пользовался и даже словариком для синтаксиса, потому что перевод был не точным.
Ни разу в жизни не просил помощи на форуме, просто я в полном недоумении что происходит.Хотя бы зацепочку дайте, куда копать.
И так теперь по делу.
Никогда не запускал googlechrome из терминала. Просто появилась иконка на нее и нажимал.
Я запускал хром с данными параметрами —no-sandbox. И все открывалось, но пишется вы используете непотдерживаемый флаг командой строки —no-sandbox , стабильность и безопасность будут нарушены.

А по поводу 2 кода …выдает

Да и неверю что проблема в chrome. Я пробывал писать команду sudo apt-get update и и через пару секунд выбивает из всех терминалов.
Тогда решил запустить обновление через графическую оболочку. Пишет Проверьте интернет-соединение.(скажу сразу, с интернетом все ок!)

Спасибо за то что вы пытаетесь мне помочь.Но к сожелению при вводе вашей команды ничего не происходит! Почитал о ps посмотрел что он могет и умеет понял что при выполнении команд меня выбивет из терминала моментально.

Я уже сказал Вам из-за чего у вас проблемы — Вы пытались запустить google-chrome от root. От сюда и грабли.
Показывайте:

ls -alF .config/google-chrome/
ls -alF /tmp

Я запускал хром с данными параметрами —no-sandbox. И все открывалось, но пишется вы используете непотдерживаемый флаг командой строки —no-sandbox , стабильность и безопасность будут нарушены.

Ну так правильно оно пишет. Не умеет Chrome работать в песочнице, если запустить его с правами суперпользователя!
А потому надо теперь исрправлять права для Chrome и больше никогда-никогда не запускать его с sudo!

sudo chown -R $USER:$USER $HOME/.config
sudo chmod 777 /tmp
sudo rm -r -f /tmp/.com.google.Chrome*

Большая часть драйверов уже присутствует в ядре Linux. Проприетарный драйвер от нвидии устанавливается путем скачивания с официального сайта и запуска универсального установщика ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6629-pkg1.run. Есть и более удобные методы установки, чем искать сайт вендора, проверять появились ли драйвера, скачивать их и затем устанавливать — из репозитария пакетов одной командой . . Никто не мешает скачать и собрать пакет из этих исходников, но рекомендуемый способ — установка штатного пакета из дистрибутива, штатным пакетным менеджером.
Процесс установки пакетов специфичен для каждого семейства дистрибутивов. Для базирующихся на Debian(Debian, Ubuntu, Knoppix, AltLinux) — apt-get install samba и dpkg -i samba-xxx.deb, для Gentoo — emerge samba, для базирующихся на RedHat(SuSe, AspLinux, Mandriva) — rpm -i samba-xxx.rpm, у Fedora есть также менеджер установки из репозитария — yum install samba, у SuSe — yast, у Mandriva — urpmi и т.д.

В общем случае способов установки пакетов несколько — есть как универсальные способы инсталляции(сборка из исходников с последующей установкой полученных бинарнников либо запуск установочного бинарника, как в случае с драйверами nVidia), так и специфичные для различных дистрибутивов способы установка пакетов с помощью пакетных менеджеров.
Выбирайте дистрибутив и читайте документацию по его штатному пакетному менеджеру.

What are the steps to reproduce the issue?

  1. Start checkra1n tool
  2. Follow all steps
  3. On installing jailbreak page of the checkra1n tool I have gotten the 3 codes that are in the title. Which are Error code: -21, Error code: -77, Error code: -78. I have had one other issue that I have gotten no error code on. It will actually show on my device the checkra1n logo and the writing going down the screen. Like it’s jailbreaking. But when my device reboots there is no checkra1n app, so I can’t install cydia. On the checkra1n tool it’s like it gets stuck on Entered Download mode, or right before trigger. These are all of the known issues I have been fighting with trying to jailbreak my iPhone 7 on iOS 13.3.1 with Linux.

I expect it to fully go through the process of jailbreaking and install the checkra1n app on my iPhone.

Does the issue also occur if you enable Safe Mode?
Haven’t tried to jailbreak the iPhone with safe mode enabled.

This article will tell you how to fix the checkra1n jailbreak error getting passcode state, fix the checkra1n error connecting to lockdownd, and fix the checkra1n jailbreak freeze issue on iPhone 7, 7 Plus, iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and iPhone X on your Windows machine using the checkra1n 0.12.4.

Step 1. Connect the device with the computer and trust

Step 2. Turn off passcode faceid

Step 4. Put the device in DFU mode

You need to put your device into DFU mode and put the device in DFU mode, not in recovery mode.

DFU Mode iPhone X or iPhone 8 – checkra1n iOS 14.8 jailbreak :

  1. Press and hold the Side button for almost 6 seconds, then release it.
  2. Now immediately press, press, and hold the volume down button and the side button together for 3 seconds.

  2. After 10 seconds, release the side button, and keep pressing the home button for at least 5-8 seconds.

Once your device is in recovery mode, you can also check the status on the checkra1n jailbreak screen that your device gets into DFU mode or not.

Step 5. Reconnect device

Now you need to disconnect your device and connect it back.

Что делать, когда проявляется ошибка 78 iPhone

1. Первое убеждаемся, что у вас оригинальный и не поврежденный кабель, iTunes обновлён до последней версии, используется USB порт 2.0 он черного цвета, если есть рядом другой компьютер, то пробуем восстановиться на ней.

Checkra1n Linux Error Code 78? #826

I’ve been jailbreaking my iPhone with checkra1n on linux with macOS for a while now but since the linux version has came out I’ve switched to that. First of all my iPhone 8+ hasn’t been able to be jailbroken for a while now. Every time I try to jailbreak I get no error it’s just the apple logo pops up, stays there for about a minute or two, and then my phone restarts unjailbroken. I don’t know if it’s a tweak or not but yeah, here’s my issue now. I’m trying to jailbreak with linux and when I try to boot into safe mode to remove a tweak because maybe it’s a tweak not letting me jailbreak, I get this error code. «Error. Run as root maybe? (Error Code: -78)». If anyone could help me on this because I really want to jailbreak my iPhone 8+ and I haven’t been able to at all since December that would be great. Thank you.

Update: I just ran checkra1n in CLI mode and this is what I see. https://imgur.com/a/oizE38N

It says that and then gets stuck at the checkra1n boot logo, before restarting after a few minutes and booting into an unjailbroken device. One good thing is that it let me boot into safe mode when I plugged my iPhone cord into a USB 2.0 port instead of a 3.0 port. So if it has anything to do with a tweak or something then that’s good. Please someone help me jailbreak my phone again!

i have an iphone 6 plus wich had touch issue, intermittent only
i apply just a little piece af tape and it works normally
as it was discharged, i charged it but i forgot to plug in the battery

so i disconnected the iphone from wall charger, plug the battery and now i have and apple logo and then only backlight without display

when i plug to PC, itunes says me there’s a problem, need to update bla bla

but when it starts to update itunes says me error 78 !

Checkra1n Linux Error Code 78? #826

One good thing is that it let me boot into safe mode when I plugged my iPhone cord into a USB 2.0 port instead of a 3.0 port. So if it has anything to do with a tweak or something then that’s good. Please someone help me jailbreak my phone again!

i have an iphone 6 plus wich had touch issue, intermittent only
i apply just a little piece af tape and it works normally
as it was discharged, i charged it but i forgot to plug in the battery

so i disconnected the iphone from wall charger, plug the battery and now i have and apple logo and then only backlight without display

when i plug to PC, itunes says me there’s a problem, need to update bla bla

but when it starts to update itunes says me error 78 !

Ошибки в джейлбрейк-инструменте checkra1n? Что делать

Вы уже наверняка слышали о выходе нового джейлбрейк-инструмента checkra1n. Он создан на основе эксплойта checkm8, который подходит для всех версий системы на iPhone 5s – iPhone X. Более того, это первый публичный джейлбрейк с поддержкой iOS 13.

Однако многие пользователи сообщают о проблемах с вводом устройства в режим DFU и установкой джейлбрейка в целом. Чаще всего возникает «Ошибка 20» или же джейлбрейк не действует вообще.

Баги присутствуют, поскольку это публичная бета-версия инструмента. Однако, как оказалось, большинство проблем могут исправить два простых шага:

  • Используйте кабель USB-A/Lightning, а не USB-C/Lightning для подключения устройства к компьютеру.
  • Вводите устройство в режимDFU, когда инструкция появится на экране, а не заранее.

Команда checkra1n официально объявила о том, что при установке инструмента нельзя использовать кабель USB-C/Lightning. Похоже, он мешает вводу устройства в режим DFU. Особенно актуальна проблема для кабелей от Apple, но она может возникать и со сторонними кабелями.

Если же вы используете кабель USB-A/Lightning, проблемы должны исчезнуть.

Многие зачем-то вводят свои устройства в режим DFU заранее, но делать этого не надо. Именно из-за этого и возникают проблемы.

Команда checkra1n даже обновила инструкцию с вводом в режим DFU, сделав её понятнее. Теперь всё должно получаться с первого раза.

Если у вас возникали проблемы с установкой джейлбрейка, мы рекомендуем последовать двум советам выше и попробовать ещё раз.

Не забывайте, что инструмент checkra1n – это всё ещё бета, так что багов не избежать. Мы советуем подождать выхода финальной версии. Если же вы не можете ждать, у нас есть инструкция по установке джейлбрейка checkra1n.

I’ve been building a golang app with system tray GUI. I wanted launchctl to run my program whenever I log in. Program compiles and runs without any error, however, when launchctl runs it, I see this: Service exited with abnormal code: 78. Perhaps it has something to do with rights.

  • First I tried to set rights of a current user to both plist file and the binary. Still error 78.

  • Then I changed the rights of plist file and the binary to root and run sudo launchctl. I still see error 78.

/var/log/system.log has this errors:

When I run the binary manually, the icon of the app appears on the system tray, as expected.

There’s one interesting moment – if I manually type launchctl load -w com.test.test.plist, app runs nicely – until the reboot. After I reboot, launchctl throws 78 error.

Why is this happening?

Доброго дня надеюсь на вашу помощь.Все началось месяц назад.Начала появляться сообщение об ошибке при загрузке.И для 3 назад перестал запускаться googlechrome. Я подумал что нужно запустить приложение «Системный монитор» и глянуть «чо ково». Но и она при запуске сразу закрывалось.Полез в поисках информации, перерыл все что было.Так же перестал запускатся VirtualBox. Сервера пробывал менять. Все команды которые содержат в себе update и apt-get(я еще новичок так что не кидайте помидоры в меня если что то не так написал) почти сразу закрывают все открытые терминалы.
Ниже напишу ответы на пару команд.

В Линукс можно сделать ВСЁ что угодно, достаточно знать КАК !

Так….
Вообщем я только что узнал что такое pgrep и его значение -a -f , так же на сколько я понял он должен отобразить все процесcы google.

6244 sudo pgrep -af googleвот что выдает…. тогда я полумал что у меня возможно нету этой программы…да и даже если захочу я ее наврятле установлю.Как и писал выше вылетает из терминала.
Тогда я вспомнил что у меня есть htop. Запустил его нажал F4(Filter) и ввел слово google.Но уже после 2 буквы небыло никаких активных дейсвий. также пробывал и

sudo htop подумал может что то изменить но увы(((
Если вожна имена информация из  pgrep и это что то соовсем иное и супер крутое непохожее на htop отведте и я погружусь в поиски…..

ну и по теме:
а нефиг пытаться запускать хром с правами рута (да и вообще любое ПО, да и работать под рутом не стоит)! из этого и следуют обе ваши проблемы:
1)

sudo google-chrome-stable --no-sandbox
2)

sudo chown -R $USER:$USER $HOME/.config
google-chrome-stable

Пока искал решение данной проблемы уже понял для чего на самом деле ставится Linux.
И я потратил не 1час и не даже не день на поиски решения надой проблемы.
Прошу вас не нужно агресии в мою сторону)))я и переводчиком пользовался и даже словариком для синтаксиса, потому что перевод был не точным.
Ни разу в жизни не просил помощи на форуме, просто я в полном недоумении что происходит.Хотя бы зацепочку дайте, куда копать.
И так теперь по делу.
Никогда не запускал googlechrome из терминала. Просто появилась иконка на нее и нажимал.
Я запускал хром с данными параметрами —no-sandbox. И все открывалось, но пишется вы используете непотдерживаемый флаг командой строки —no-sandbox , стабильность и безопасность будут нарушены.

А по поводу 2 кода …выдает

Да и неверю что проблема в chrome. Я пробывал писать команду sudo apt-get update и и через пару секунд выбивает из всех терминалов.
Тогда решил запустить обновление через графическую оболочку. Пишет Проверьте интернет-соединение.(скажу сразу, с интернетом все ок!)

Спасибо за то что вы пытаетесь мне помочь.Но к сожелению при вводе вашей команды ничего не происходит! Почитал о ps посмотрел что он могет и умеет понял что при выполнении команд меня выбивет из терминала моментально.

Я уже сказал Вам из-за чего у вас проблемы — Вы пытались запустить google-chrome от root. От сюда и грабли.
Показывайте:

ls -alF .config/google-chrome/
ls -alF /tmp

Ну так правильно оно пишет. Не умеет Chrome работать в песочнице, если запустить его с правами суперпользователя!
А потому надо теперь исрправлять права для Chrome и больше никогда-никогда не запускать его с sudo!

sudo chown -R $USER:$USER $HOME/.config
sudo chmod 777 /tmp
sudo rm -r -f /tmp/.com.google.Chrome*

Большая часть драйверов уже присутствует в ядре Linux. Проприетарный драйвер от нвидии устанавливается путем скачивания с официального сайта и запуска универсального установщика ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6629-pkg1.run. Есть и более удобные методы установки, чем искать сайт вендора, проверять появились ли драйвера, скачивать их и затем устанавливать — из репозитария пакетов одной командой . В разных дистрибутивах — разные репозитарии и разные пакетные менеджеры: «emerge nvidia-drivers», «yum install kmod-nvidia» и т.д.

. Никто не мешает скачать и собрать пакет из этих исходников, но рекомендуемый способ — установка штатного пакета из дистрибутива, штатным пакетным менеджером.
Процесс установки пакетов специфичен для каждого семейства дистрибутивов. В общем случае способов установки пакетов несколько — есть как универсальные способы инсталляции(сборка из исходников с последующей установкой полученных бинарнников либо запуск установочного бинарника, как в случае с драйверами nVidia), так и специфичные для различных дистрибутивов способы установка пакетов с помощью пакетных менеджеров.
Выбирайте дистрибутив и читайте документацию по его штатному пакетному менеджеру.
