As kingfish‌ suggested usually such a setting would be in the advance settings of a browser. Having said that, so far no other system hangs or black screens have occurred. I even did an under-volt and benched the system. No abnormalities were noted so far. Will keep you posted with the progress.

Would this update also resolve symptoms outside of web browsing?

Ive experiences this browsing the internet as well as in game.

…this is really baffling because it only seems to occur during my initial boot, then once the restart is complete from the crash it seems stable for the remainder of that 2nd session.

Guys, I have received a reply from AMD support, well, a common answer and at the same time I have tried some other approaches and followed your advices, and at the same time Call of Duty Warzone have received an update, so I dunno what did I do right this time.

* I have uninstalled Microsoft Edge, because I know some fotwares uses it in background and as I am a Firefox user I have disabled the hardware acceleration just on it.

* Added some extra cooling to my PC so I can keep the GPU below 80C.

* Paused windows updates, disabled antivirus and fully uninstalled AMD Drivers using the display driver uninstaller utility (in windows 10 safe mode)

* Installed again the same driver (most recent) and checked the «factory reset» option.

* Disabled free sync and enhanced sync

* Tuned the GPU Fans to a higher level to help keep it below 80C.

This issue could cause due to multiple reason like driver files conflicts etc and if you have not done the clean installation of the driver. I request you to give a try by performing clean installation of older driver by using the DDU utility and check the issue status.

·         Step 2 – then restart your computer again and enter the normal windows mode.

I have very fresh installation of Windows 10 pro and Vega64.

Right now I got a bluescreen of death out of the blue…
Was watching Youtube video and then BAM!

This was the application error that I found.

Noteworthy is that I have not had this kind of bluescreen since the fresh Win install in 2 weeks.

But yesterday there was Windows update and PC updated and rebooted itself and today I get this bluescreen..
I bet they are related. The Radeon software crashing right after Windows has had a major update.

Hi I also have this problem on a consistent basis for about a week or so. It happens whenever I play a game for about 10 minutes or so, this is consistent over a different number of games (Overwatch, COD WZ, World of Tanks, Metro Exodus) from different developers with different stress on my PC. Ran all of these with high and low settings. However I do not have this problem while browsing as some people here have.

Here’s what I’ve tried:

Disabling all optional features of AMD radeon software i.e. freesync, antilag etc.

Updated my BIOS to version 3.5.

Disabling hardware acceleration on any and all applications I could find that used it.

Disabling any hardware monitor or overclocking program that isn’t AMD radeon or ryzen master.

Return to factory settings in AMD Radeon software.

Did a fresh reinstall of windows.

Ran several RAM checks.

Replaced my old PSU with a new PSU.

Ran Restoro software to check and fix possible issues.

None of these measures worked one bit.

My hardware:

Ryzen 5 1600X

AMD Radeon RX 5700XT Nitro+

16 GB RAM @ 3000 Mhz

ASROCK AB350 Pro4 motherboard

OS installed on M2 SSD

Software:

Windows 10 64 Bit

Radeon Software 20.4.1 (currently up to date)

I have made a support ticket with AMD April 17th at around 20:00, haven’t heard from them yet other than their automated e-mail. I will update if/when I hear something. Hope we can fix this thing so we can all go back to what we bought this hardware for in the first place.

Glad to know I’m not the only one with this issue.

Was playing ARK on my 8gb gigabyte rx580 sitting around 84 degrees no overclock and got a black screen while computer still running and background audio looped. Tried many different driver versions and DDU before install and safe boot. Tried disabling hardware acceleration etc etc etc.

Have had these events frequently:

event 4041 Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered and a
event 1000 Faulting application name: Radeonsoftware.exe

Had issues in a variety of games and even under no load

Wondering if anyone had issues where the audio was breaking up? Crackling etc. Can upload a clip of it if anyone was interested
Was thinking it had to do with compatibility issues with my mobo GA-B85-HD3 rev 1.0 or the graphics card itself

i was having the same issue while playing project cars 2 , the issue just came out of nowhere after a long gaming session . i read all the previous comments but couldn’t figured out a way to do it so went to the game profile and disabled the only setting i had turned on which was enhanced sync and so far so good.

my driver version is 20.3.1, my gpu is a Sapphire Nitro+ RX480 and my monitor a Dell SE2719H .

i previously had a freesync and never had an issue with enhanced sync so maybe the issue is display related , perhaps the refresh rate of the game compared to the refresh rate of the monitor

i had 122.5 fps according to the project cars 2 profile on the Adrenaline panel ( while using enhance sync) and as i said i was experiencing driver crashes but since i disabled enhanced syn and enabled vsync on the game settings ( in game settings) my fps is now 55.9 and i haven’t experienced any crashes so far ( touch hood)

Did get the same error but disabling hardware acceleration didn’t help.

Very often when trying to open Radeonsoftware it starts, guess it takes me 2/5 attempts in order to reproduce this issue.

It’s accompanied by something that looks like this.

In most cases the pixels are blue, sometimes they are red.

Same issue. System crashes or hangs and has to be rebooted.

This issue occurs every few days with the RX5700 set at all defaults — no over/under clock. It seems random with various MS Office apps and even with hang returning from sleep mode — nothing to stress the display driver or hardware at all. Happened again about an hour ago.

My system:

CPU — AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
Motherboard — Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master — BIOS F11 (most current BIOS
Graphics — Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 Gaming OC 8G (GV-R57GAMING OC-8GD) — most current BIOS

PSU — Corsair RMX Series, RM850x, 850 Watt, 80+ Gold Certified, Fully Modular Power Supply (CP-9020180-NA)

O/S — Win10 Pro 1909 — 18363.815

Radeon driver package is 20.4.1.

I will update now to 20.4.2 and hope this finally fixes the bugs. It has been going on since I bough this card.

All of you try, 20.4.2 and also try to disable the AMD Overlay in the AMD Settings. If the issue stops happening after disabling the overlay we can tag AMD Support. I had the same crashes in my even’t log but I disabled the overlay as it’s not working nice when alt-tabbing allot.

Hi guys, if Hardware acceleration does not solve the issue, please try and update to 20.4.2 If the issue still persist, than unfortunate you have another issue than the one that I reported. In-fact if you check the release notes of the update, it states that the symptoms that I was experiencing and others in this thread got solved.

Hi guys, in order to facilitate for people to help you, we need to add some rules to new posts.

Apart from the Event Log you should also post your system specs, Video Card, Driver Version and steps you have already followed from this thread.

If you are having such problems it would be fait to just disable any kind of overclock and specific tunning you might be doing, like XMP or something like that.

It is known BSOF (blue screens) mostly are caused by Memory problems or driver errors, first I would suggest to re-check if your computer drivers are up to date (check manufacturer’s website), if you don’t have any kind of custom memory/cpy clock settings in the BIOS.

After everything is set, please follow my last post where I pasted the answer from AMD support, with a tutorial about uninstalling the AMD VIdeo Card driver, cleaning it up using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and installing a new one.

Also disable any kind of hardware acceleration in your browsers and game launchers like Steam or something like that, it is known to be causing problems.

So, before posting new questions, please let us known if you have followed those steps accordingly, also AMD has released a new driver update this last week, try that out. Don’t forget to follow the DDU approach to clean the last video driver, I had to do it as well, AGAIN…

It has been some weeks since I am not having any kind of issue, and playing everyday without any problems.

Same issue here, freezes and then reboots occurs randomly but only during playing games, especially Bioshock Infinite (basically unplayable, happens 5 min after loading game), Apex Legends (after around 15-20 min of playing), GTA V (totally random, but i managed to play for longest time). Never happened in DOTA 2 whatsoever or even in desktop while web browsing, youtube watching etc. Stable on prime95, memtest86 and furmark stress tests running for for at least 1h.

My rig:

Asus RX 5700 XT O8G

Asus Crosshair Hero VII WIFI

Ryzen 9 3900X + Thermaltake Floe Riing 360

G.Skill Trident Z 16GB 3600Mhz CL 16

Thermaltake iRGB Plus 1050W

Samsung EVO 970 1TB M.2 NVME

Already tried switching drivers to older/oldest/newest, always with DDU. When playing Bioshock 2 remaster on Manjaro Linux there were no issues (except little bit stutter, but i guess it’s steams proton thing), so i think it’s either driver issue or windows issue because there is no pattern in those freezes/reboots that could indicate problems with anything else.

Then i found this thread (by googling fault and offset code for radeon software error shown in event viewer) and felt a bit relieved that i’m not the only one with this problem xD still sad tho, i can’t reliably play on PC i spent little bit more cash than ever before on my PCs…

I just want to remind anyone new to this issue to try disabling hardware acceleration in their browsers. This seems to solve a big majority of my issues but i can’t say for sure it completely resolves them. Currently running on 20.2.2 freshly installed with DDU(make sure to use safemode method and to boot offline when you install the driver.) It would be helpful to post other errors showing up in the event viewer that happen consistently with the issues.

Disabling hardware acceleration in web browsers is kinda pointless when u don’t have any issues while browsing, but while gaming — however i’ve done this both in every browser (including steam) and it didn’t help.

I noticed that running game with vertical sync on and with freesync off allows me to play waaaay longer than before.

My crashes were predominately while gaming with as few applications running as possible (to get to the bottom of what program was causing it)

I know chrome has the option in advance settings to allow background applications to continue to run even when the browser is closed but i’m not sure that it has any relevance to your issue. I’ll come back if i can find any other solutions.

1. Terminate processes in the Task Manager

Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager.
Select the Radeon Host Application process and click End task.
Similarly, terminate the Radeon Desktop Overlay process here.

One of the simplest ways to get things up and running when you have the Radeon Software Host application has stopped working error is to terminate both the Radeon processes in the Task Manager. You can then relaunch the program.

2. Reinstall the driver

Press Windows + X to open the Power User menu, and select Device Manager.
Expand the Display adapters entry, right-click on the graphics adapter, and choose Properties.
Go to the Drivers tab, and note the value next to Driver Version.
Now, right-click on the AMD adapter, and choose Uninstall device.
Untick the checkbox for Attempt to remove the driver for this device and click Uninstall.

Head to the Drivers tab and check whether the previous version is now installed. If not, you may have to repeat the steps a few times.

3. Clean install the latest Radeon Graphics Card Driver

First, download the installer for the latest AMD graphics card driver from AMD Drivers and Support.
Download the Display Driver Uninstaller utility to Windows.
Press Windows + R to open Run, type services.msc, and hit Enter.
Double-click on the Windows Update service to open its Properties.
Select Disabled from the Startup type dropdown menu, and click the Stop button.
Click the Apply and OK buttons.
Press Windows + E to open File Explorer, paste the following path in the address bar, and then hit Enter:C:\AMD
Press Ctrl + A to select all the files here and then hit Delete to clear them.
Again, press Windows + R to open Run, type appwiz.cpl, and hit Enter.
Select the AMD Software from the list and click Uninstall.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Similarly, remove any other AMD software listed here.
Press Windows + R to open Run, type msconfig, and click OK.
Navigate to the Boot tab, select Safe boot, and then choose Minimal under it.
Click on Apply and OK.
Click Restart in the prompt that appears.
There shouldn’t be any third-party antivirus utilities running in Safe Mode. However, double-check that third-party antivirus utilities are disabled.
Uninstall the Radeon Graphics Card driver with Display Driver Uninstaller, which will thoroughly remove the driver. To do that, select the AMD option on DDU’s drop-down menu, and click the Clean and restart button.
Now, install the AMD driver you downloaded earlier using the setup.
Finally, relaunch System Configuration, uncheck the Safe boot option, click Apply and OK, and restart the computer.

That’s it! Removing the problematic driver and installing the latest one using the DDU should get things running when you are continuously getting the Radeon Software Host application has stopped working error.

4. Create a new user profile

Press Windows + I to open Settings, and click on Accounts.
Go to the Family & other users tab, and click on Add someone else to this PC on the right.
Click on I don’t have this person’s sign-in information.
Select the Add a user without a Microsoft account option.
Enter the account name and password, and click Next.
Once the account is created, choose it, and click on Change account type.
Select Administrator from the dropdown menu, and click on OK.

If the solutions listed previously didn’t work and you still get Radeon Software Host application has stopped working message, creating a new user profile should do the trick. After creating the new account, transfer the data between the two.

Do I need Radeon Settings Host application on startup?

The Radeon Settings Host Application, though helps in optimizing the performance of the graphics card, is not an essential requirement. So, you can disable the startup app.

На сайте AMD появилась новость о выходе обеспечения Radeon Software Crimson Edition 15.11.1 Update. Многие пользователи заменили рабочую программу Catalyst Control Center на новинку, в надежде получить более эффективную панель управления видеокартой. Однако большинство пользователей столкнулись с ошибкой: «Прекращена работа программы Radeon Setting: Host Application».

Что же делать в таком случае и как исправить проблему?

Чтобы программа работала корректно, перед установкой Radeon Software Crimson Edition стоит полностью удалить драйвера к видеокарте и софт Catalyst Control Center. Для этого можно воспользоваться утилитой Display Driver Uninstaller и выполнить очистку с применением Revo Installer. Также рекомендуем установить Microsoft.NET Framework версии 4.5.1.

После удаления и обновления фреймворков, запускаем установку Radeon Software Crimson Edition. Выбираем компоненты, которые необходимы для корректной работы видеокарты.

Далее запустится установка.

В случае успешно установки, система запросит перезагрузку ПК. Выбираем «Перезагрузить сейчас».

Если перейти во вкладку «Игры», можно увидеть уже установленные развлечения. Также можно добавить новую игру.

Чтобы настроить воспроизведение игры, графику, частоту кадров и т д, стоит нажать на иконку игры. Появится простой и понятный интерфейс.

Выбираем настройки в соответствии с мощностью своей видеокарты и возможностями игры.

Если же перейти с режима «Глобальная настройка» в «Настройка One Drive», то можно настроить разгон под отдельно взятую игру.

Таким образом, если вы хотите, чтобы у вас исчезла ошибка «Прекращена работа программы Radeon Setting: Host Application», стоит корректно установить программу. Однако в ряде тестирования некоторым пользователям данный метод не помог. На сайте AMD сообщили, что в следующем обновлении все дефекты программы будут устранены.

В глубине души меня не оставляет надежда, что разработчики одумаются и исправят эту ошибку. С другой стороны, если она сохранится, то лучше исправлять её в самой свежей версии, чем пытаться наладить работу устаревшего драйвера.

For the last few days to a week, I’ve been getting the error of the “host application” of my card drive stop running. I got the same problem with Catalyst and now with Crimson.

300GB Storage (Partition of 500GB HDD)

2. Исправляем неверное значение в реестре.

В редакторе реестра последовательно открываем ветку (папку):

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE → SOFTWARE → AMD → CN

Внутри этой ветки (папки) находим параметр DriverVersion у которого необходимо удалить значение. Для этого делаем по имени параметра двойной клик мышью, удаляем значение в открывшемся окне и сохраняем измененное (пустое) значение.

Когда вы запускаете исполняемый файл определенной программы, он инициирует ее процесс в фоновом режиме. В некоторых случаях он может неправильно запустить программу, даже если он уже начал запускать этот процесс. Это оставляет процесс работающим непрерывно в фоновом режиме. В результате вы не сможете запустить еще один сеанс программы, который в вашем случае является CCC. Чтобы решить эту проблему, выполните следующие действия:

Решение 2. Запустите приложение из места расположения

Что делать если Radeon Settings Host Application сильно грузит процессор?

Имею Windows 10 и после обновления драйверов видеокарты заметил что в диспетчере задач процесс под названием “Radeon Settings: Host Application” забирает под себя

После недолгих поисков решения проблемы, выяснилось, что по какой-то причине AMD ReLive пытается найти отсутствующую папку, независимо от того, отключена она или не поддерживается моим графическим процессором, что приводит к высокой загрузке процессора этим приложением.

Как это исправить?

В диспетчере задач правой кнопкой мыши нажимает на этом процессе и выбираем завершить.

Переходим в папку Видео и создаём ещё одну папку с названием “Radeon ReLive”

Открываем повторно AMD Radeon Settings и видим что проблема решена.

Когда я чистил систему я удалил папку “Radeon ReLive”, потому что она была пуста, никто бы и не подумал, что она может так повлиять на работу системы.

Если у вас на компьютере установлена видеокарта от AMD или процессор от этой фирмы с интегрированным видеоадаптером, то настройка работы оборудования будет проходить через встроенную в систему программу Catalyst Control Center. За ее корректную работу отвечает процесс CCC.exe, который запускается по умолчанию вместе с системой.

Как было сказано выше – данный процесс напрямую связан с работой программы AMD Catalyst Control Center. С ее помощью можно настраивать разные видеопараметры. Это могут быть такие параметры, как разрешение, яркость и контрастность экрана, а также управление рабочими столами, регулировка настройки производительности 3D-игр.

При завершении процесса данная программа тоже перестанет функционировать. По умолчанию и программа и процесс запускаются автоматически при включении операционной системы. Расположение файла процесса

Каждому процессу, запущенному в «Диспетчере задач» соответствует определенный файл. Не исключение и CCC.exe. Узнать, какой файл отвечает за его работу и запуск можно следующим образом:

Запустите «Диспетчер задач» и откройте вкладку с запущенными процессами.
Среди представленных процессов найдите CCC.exe. Кликните по нему правой кнопкой мыши. В контекстном меню нажмите по пункту «Открыть место хранения файла».
После этого в «Проводнике» откроется расположение файла. В адресной строке должен быть прописан следующий путь: C:Program Files (x86)AMDATI.ACECore-Static.

Важно знать расположение данного файла по умолчанию. Если он расположен по другому пути, то это повод заподозрить его вирусное происхождение.

Запуск процесса

Данный процесс запускается вместе с программой AMD Catalyst Control Center, которая запускается уже вместе с операционной системой. Исключение может быть в том случае, если в настройках программы или ОС отключен автоматический старт. В таком случае данный процесс будет отсутствовать в «Диспетчере задач», но его можно будет открыть в ручном режиме.

Делается это следующим образом:

Кликните правой кнопкой мыши по рабочему столу и выберите из контекстного меню «AMD Catalyst Control Center».
Откроется окно одноименной программы, а вместе с ней процесс CCC.exe. Окно программы можно закрыть – процесс все равно останется.

Настройка автоматической загрузки процесса

По умолчанию автоматический запуск данного процесса включен в операционной системе, но вы можете его отключить. Дело в том, что иногда большое количество сторонних процессов, которые запускаются вместе с ОС при старте, могут оказывать сильное влияние на скорость и качество работы операционной системы.

Настройка автоматического запуска данного процесса происходит по следующей инструкции:

Запустите строку «Выполнить». Она предусмотрена для выполнения коротких команд, а также запуска некоторых настроек операционной системы. Выполнить запуск данной строки можно во всех версиях Windows, воспользовавшись сочетанием клавиш Win+R.
В появившуюся строку введите команду: msconfig и нажмите «Ок» или клавишу Enter для применения.
Запустится окошко «Конфигурация системы». В нем переключитесь во вкладку «Автозагрузка».
Среди представленных процессов найдите «Catalyst Control Center». Снимите с него галочку. Если же вам напротив требуется, чтобы данный процесс автоматически запускался с системой, а он не запускается, то установите напротив него галочку.
Нажмите «Применить» и «Ок», чтобы проделанные манипуляции вступили в силу.

После этого процесс будет автоматически запускаться при каждом входе в операционную систему.

Завершение процесса

Вы можете прекратить выполнение процесса в любое время, так как он не является системным и сильно важным. Обычно это рекомендуется делать, когда процесс начинает слишком сильно нагружать Windows и приводить к зависанию других программ. Однако это не рекомендуется делать, если вы играете в данный момент в какую-нибудь требовательную игру или работаете в графическом/видео редакторе.

Принудительное завершение данного процесса CCC.exe можно реализовать по следующей инструкции:

Запустите «Диспетчер задач» и переключитесь во вкладку «Процессы». Среди представленных процессов найдите CCC.exe.
Кликните по нему левой кнопкой мыши и выберите из контекстного меню пункт «Завершить процесс».
«Диспетчер задач» выдаст предупреждение, что если остановить данный процесс, то программа, которая его использует будет тоже закрыта и несохраненные данные могут быть потеряны. Подтвердите завершение.

После отключения процесс не будет никоим образом влиять на работу Windows.

Подмена вирусом

Некоторые вирусы умеют маскироваться под системные или программные процессы. CCC.exe не стал исключением. Определить вирус, который пытается маскироваться можно по следующим признакам:

Название процесса написано как-то иначе, например, ccc.exe. Должно быть только заглавными буквами.
В столбце «Описание», если он есть (отсутствует в некоторых редакциях Windows 10), должно всегда быть значение «Catalyst Control Center: Host application». Если стоит какое-то другое значение или его вообще нет (при этом сам столбец «Описание» присутствует), то это повод заподозрить неладное.
Проверьте расположение файла, который отвечает за работу процесса. Это самый надежный способ определить вирус. Данный файл всегда должен располагаться по пути: C:Program Files (x86)AMDATI.ACECore-Static. Если вас переносит по какому-то другому адресу, то можете не сомневаться – это вирус.

Также процесс точно окажется вирусом в том случае, если в системе установлена видеокарта NVIDIA и нет никаких компонентов от AMD.

В случае, если вы определили данный процесс как вирус, нужно сделать следующее:

Остановить его работу. Как это сделать было написано в одной из инструкций выше.
Найти месторасположение файла вирусного процесса и выполнить полную очистку его директории.
Теперь воспользуйтесь антивирусом, чтобы выявить другие вредоносные файлы в системе. Рекомендуем использовать проверенные коммерческие решения, типа, Avast, Kaspersky, Dr. Web. Пользователи Windows 10 могут смело использовать встроенный Защитник, так как по эффективности он не уступает решениям от сторонних разработчиков.

В большинстве случаев процесс CCC.exe – это просто один из процессов, необходимый для работы программы AMD Catalyst Control Center, которая не несет особой значимости для системы. Однако иногда данный процесс может подменяться вирусом, поэтому будьте осторожны.

Hi guys, I have a HP DV6 202 running Windows 7 64bit, which I purchased last February. It is fitted with a 320GB hard drive and 3GB of RAM and I notice that the ram usage is around 95% for most of the time and now programs take forever to open and I cannot shut it down without the same message appearing: «AMD CCC AEMCapturing Window is stopping windows from closing down» I then have to force it to shut down and have run checks of different descriptions i.e.. AVG Antivirus scans, Windows Defender scan, chsdisk checker. I do not put any discs (games or otherwise) into my computer, only my iPod which I use a lot. I have also taken it back a month (before the problem started) but it is still the same. Someone has told me to take it back to the manufacturers specification, but it means I will lose some items, but not too bothered about that. I did send HP an e-mail a couple of weeks ago, but as yet, no reply. What I would like to know is it a software issue, or is the computer faulty in some way which means I can take it back to where I purchased it from. Any help or advice would be very welcome. Bill.

«The version of AMD Radeon Software You Have Launched Is Not Compatible. » — появилась ошибка при попытке открыть центр управления видеокартой Radeon Software (версия драйвера не совместима)

Здравствуйте.

Не так давно попросили меня посмотреть один ноутбук на базе ЦП AMD Ryzen (со встроенной видеокартой ?). Проблема была в том, что при попытке открыть центр управления видеодрайвером AMD Radeon Software — появлялась ошибка, обозначенная в заголовке (см. скрин ниже ?). Разумеется, этот момент мешал задать «тонкие» настройки для некоторых игр.

Собственно, причина была в том, что Windows (почему-то?) обновляла драйвер на видео самостоятельно и делала это некорректно.

К счастью, «лечится» это не очень сложно, свой небольшой «рецепт» приведу ниже. Возможно, это принесет кому-нибудь пользу (надеюсь. ).

Пример ошибки: «. AMD Radeon Software You Have Launched Is Not Compatible. » || Если перевести на русский, то будет примерно следующее: «Вы загрузили панель AMD не совместимую с текущим драйвером графики».

Далее нужно перейти на офиц. сайт AMD: https://www.amd.com/ru/support

На офиц. страничке сайта потребуется ввести модель своего ЦП (видеокарты) и загрузить драйвер. Современные версии весят больше 300 МБ. ?

Если у вас ноутбук: я бы порекомендовал также загрузить драйвер с офиц. сайта его производителя (Asus, Dell, Lenovo и пр.). И в шаге 4 (ниже) использовать в первую очередь именно его (дело в том, что в версии для ноутбуков производители нередко добавляют доп. панельки).

Примечание : сразу же устанавливать драйвер пока не нужно!

Теперь потребуется загрузить еще одну утилиту — DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) // ссылка на офиц. сайт.

Прим.: в процессе удаления драйвера в DDU, возможно, что изображение на экране у вас станет не очень качественным (большим), оно может моргнуть на 1-2 сек., и вероятно, что ваше устройство может быть перезагружено! См. пару скринов ниже. ?

Далее необходимо перейти к «нашему» загруженному драйверу и запустить его установку. Возможно, что потребуется еще раз перезагрузить компьютер.

После установки вы заметите, что в меню ПУСК и в трее (рядом с часами) появились соответствующие значки. Кликнув по ним правой кнопкой мыши — можно открыть панель управления графикой. В моем случае всё сразу же заработало! ? ?

Если «не получилось» (или проблема возникла вновь)

Есть способ найти и установить драйвера автоматически (это на случай, если с вышеприведенной инструкцией возникли сложности) — с помощью утилиты ? Driver Booster (она, кроме этого, обновит сразу же библиотеки DirectX, Net FrameWork и пр., всё, что нужно играм и др. программам). Рекомендую!

I’ve had issues with my computer suddenly hanging, usually during a game, but it did once happen browsing Chrome.
This particular issue never manifests as a BSOD, although I have procured a few for different reasons that I’m aware of.

The hang itself starts by my screen going completely black, and is usually paired with a loud buzzing noise from the audio system. In most cases, the PC will simply restart from here within a couple of seconds, but it has hung up on the buzzing once or twice indefinitely until I forced the computer off.

Every time I look in the event log, there’s a RadeonSoftware crash message which occurs about 10-15 seconds before this crash, which I will paste at the bottom of this message.

There is also a critical level Kernel-Power warning about the system now shutting down cleanly, but that’s relatively arbitrary, to be expected, and not particularly useful.

It’s interesting to note that I only started getting this error around two months back. I did a clean DDU uninstall of the graphics driver, and reverted to Adrenaline 20.1.2, but still go these system crashes. I have since tried about four other versions of the Adrenaline 2020 between 20.1.2 and 20.4.2 with no changes in crash behavior.

I have overclocked my memory in the past, but it hasn’t been overclocked for a while now, and the issue persists even at stock—not XMP—memory settings. AMD Radeon Software allows you to control basically everything about your graphics card. But after several iterations, AMD programs are still showing issues on Windows, and the most common one is AMD Radeon Software not opening.
