I need some help getting my iTunes working. I installed Itunes 10.3.1.55 and ever since when I try to tun it I get the iTunes has stopped working error. When I try to start quicktime I get the quicktime has stopped working error.

Ошибки в iTunes случаются не часто, но даже я за пару месяцев пользования iPad столкнулся уже с несколькими из них. Иногда особой расшифровки не требовалось, иногда же приходилось искать что означает та или иная ошибка в iTunes.

По каждой ошибке я планирую дополнять инструкцию. Если у вас в iTunes встретилась эта или другая ошибка – не стесняйтесь – описывайте проблему и ситуацию при которой ошибка возникла и мы постараемся помочь.

Что означают ошибки iTunes?

ошибка 6 и ошибка 10 в iTunes

У вас неправильный лого для загрузки аппарата или режима восстановления. Просто пересоздаем Custom Firmware. Также Error 6 может означать, что вы восстанавливаете прошивку не из DFU mode.

ошибка 9 в iTunes

Означает, что либо гаджет не в DFU mode, либо требуется перезагрузить компьютер (у меня как раз была эта ошибка, помогла перезагрузка) и попробовать все заново (перевод в DFU и восстановление Custom Firmware).

ошибка 1015 в iTunes

Версии прошивки и версии модема не совпали. Может появиться при даунгрейде (понижении версии прошивки). JB пройдет до конца нормально, но baseband не будет соответствовать прошивке.

ошибка 16хх (1601, 1604, 1602, 1611 и т.д.) в iTunes

Означают, что программа не может проверить прошивку. Способы выхода из ситуации — выключить контроль учетных записей (UAC в Vista и Семерке); использовать самую последнюю версию iTunes; перенести файл прошивки в каталог с простым и коротким именем; скачать оригинальную прошивку с сайта Apple и заново создать пользовательскую прошивку; сменить USB-порт или правильно перевести девайс в DFU.

ошибка 1, 2, 5, 6, 10 в iTunes

Проблема в созданной прошивке — или не та версия, или файл поврежден, или не правильно создана пользовательская прошивка (всякие логотипы, дополнительные настройки итд). Если не поможет перезагрузка компьютера, попробуйте заново создать прошивку.

ошибка 11

Возникает, если внутри прошивки не хватает каких-нибудь файлов. Пояснение: содержимое прошивки можно посмотреть, так как это обычный zip архив с другим расширением. Скорей всего вы используете неоригинальную прошивку.

ошибка 13 в iTunes

Проблема с USB портом — попробуйте достать кабель и снова вставить в порт, и если не поможет – переставить кабель в другой разъем.

ошибка 8 в iTunes

Эта прошивка для другого девайса. Скачайте прошивку именно для вашего телефона.

ошибка 0xE8000013 в iTunes

Ошибка синхронизации iTunes. Нужно повторить синхронизацию с iTunes.

ошибка 0xE8000001 в iTunes

Появляется в операционной системе Windows. Пользователям Windows нужно перезапустить сервис AppleMobileDeviceService.exe.

ошибка 0xE8008001 в iTunes

Это ошибка синхронизации. Необходимо в Cydia из репозитория http://cydia.haculo.us/ установить пакет AppSync for 3.0, если у вас на девайсе установлена прошивка 3.0, или AppSync for 3.1, если установлена прошивка 3.1 или 3.1.2

ошибка 39 в iTunes

Требуется последняя версия iTunes. Обновите iTunes.

Ошибка 1150 в iTunes

Симптомы:

Возникает при синхронизации музыки и видео

Решение:

Просто удалить iTunes и поставить его заново.

ошибка 1403 в iTunes

Файл прошивки поврежден. Перекачайте файл прошивки при помощи iTunes.

Ошибка 3194 в iTunes

В файле C:WindowsSystem32driversetchosts (Windows) или /etc/hosts (Mac OS X) и добавить следующий код последней строкой файла:

74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

После чего можно запускать/рестартовать iTunes и делать восстановление через SHIFT+Восстановить и выбор прошивки

Ошибка 3014 в iTunes

Ошибка 3014 может указывать на то, что на перед повторной попыткой восстановления необходимо освободить место на жестком диске компьютера.

Ошибка -3221 в iTunes

Симптомы
Ошибка появляется при доступе к iTunes Store. На компьютере при этом установлен McAfee Personal Firewall Plus.

Решение
Если выскочила ошибка -3221, то в антивирусе измените права доступа iTunes и iTunes Helper на полные.

Ошибка -3259 в iTunes

Симптомы:

Ошибка возникает при попытке соединится с iTunes Store. Или при попытке скачать что-либо оттуда.

Решение:

1. Обновите iTunes до последней версии

2. Попробуйте выключить брэндмауэр или любое стороннее антивирусное программное обеспечение (Norton Personal Firewall, McAfee, Symantec, и другие), которое теоретически может блокировать доступ к сети.

Ошибка 42408 или 42404 в iTunes

Решение:

Обновите iTunes до последней версии.

Is quicktime.qts a virus

Thanks a lot for this addon. I just wanted to throw in an issue I came across. I’m getting a «Quicktime.qts: write access violation» unhandled exception from time to time. There’s no way for me to really reproduce it, but I was able to fix it by commenting out this line:

Presumably you’re creating and deleting ofxHapPlayers during execution, and the exception happens during that call to the destructor?

Yeah, that is the case, though I couldn’t really trace it down to the destructor. Is it theoretically possible to create and delete happlayers at runtime?

QuickTime failed to initialize. Error #-2093

Doublechecking something before proceeding. Are you also getting another error saying something like the following?

The procedure entry point QTCF_CFUniCharGetUnicodePropertyDataForPlane could not be located in the dynamic link library QTCF.dll.

Do you have a 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7?

I only get the one message, not the one you mentioned. I just installed Windows 7 upgrade (32 bit). I was instructed to uninstall QuickTime (that was a mistake), I did a fresh install of QuickTime and I got the failed to initialize message.

Okay, we’ll try swapping out your existing QuickTime one more time, taking a few extra explicit precautions along the way.

First, download and save a fresh copy of the QuickTimeInstaller.exe to your hard drive. (Don’t run the install on line and don’t run the install just yet.) Get the installer that
doesn’t mention iTunes:

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

Now head into your «Uninstall a Program» control panel and uninstall QuickTime.

Next we’ll remove any leftover QuickTime program files and folders.

Restart the PC.

Open Local Disk C: or whichever drive your *program files* are installed on.

Open the «Program Files» folder.

Right-click the «QuickTime» folder (if it still exists) and select Delete.

Go back into Local Disk C: or whichever drive your *Operating System files* are installed on.

Open the «Windows» folder.

Open the «system32» folder.

Right-click on the
QuickTime file (if it still exists) and select «Delete».

Right-click on the
QuickTimeVR file (if it still exists) and select «Delete».

Empty your Recycle Bin and restart the PC again.

After the PC restarts, *do not open any applications.* Disconnect from your network and/or the internet. Now disable
all your security software (firewall, antivirus, antispyware).

Now start the QuickTime install by doubleclicking on the QuickTimeInstaller.exe file you downloaded earlier.

Reenable all security software prior to reconnecting to the internet and/or your network.

Did that install seem to go through okay? If so, does QuickTime launch normally this time?

I followed everything in your to do list and still no luck. (There is not a system32 directory in Windows 7 — but I searched for any file named quicktime in the Windows and subdirs). If you have any other ideas, I would appreciate it.

QuickTimeVR file. What system directory do you currently find it in?

The only things with QuickTime on the c drive are QuickTime.class (plugins for Internet Explorer and FireFox) and QuickTime.mpp (plugin for Adobe Reader 9.0). There are several shortcuts for QuickTime (that are broken) and several folders with QuickTime as a name and the QuickTimeinstaller.

There’s our problem. On a 32-bit system, after a QuickTime install, the QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx should be in there. (In a 64-bit system, they live in sysWOW64.)

Odd that neither file is being installed there for you … has the system32 folder inadvertently been set to «read only» by any chance?

I haven’t changed the permissions on the System32 folder. It’s set to whatever the default is when I did the Windows 7 upgrade. The folder has read only set for the files in the folder… The permissions for user/Administrator/Trusted Installer are different. I don’t know what they should be set to.

Hello Cotton,

What did you magically do to correct this? I’ve followed all your steps, identifying the two quicktime files in the System32 folder and then you say you’re up and working. How did that happen.

I have Quicktime working on my Dell with Windows 7 Ultimate but my Sony running Windows 7 Professional is still giving me error 2095. The wierd thing is iTunes works just fine. All this is after I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled 5 or 6 times.

IS it a stand alone install or with iTunes.
I suggest you to uninstall & install it again.

well dude the error 2095 means the the quicktime cant run that .mpg file extension … it used to play audio files & special video files like extension with. .mov etc……u can uninstalll it & use Windows media player 11 or 10 to play alll extension video&audio files….

or use real player its also good….

It’s not unknown for install writers to get things wrong. The required uninstall.log might (a) be in some other place (b) not have been installed (c) been deleted by accident (d) been removed by a previous attempt at uninstalling.

Use ‘search for a file’ to look for it — remember there will be dozens of uninstall.log files — look for one in the sort of place described. If none exist, there is really a need to install quicktime again.

I get that message whenever I try to start up quicktime. Wtf mate? I uninstalled and cleaned off all the quicktime stuff and reinstalled and it did the same thing. I uninstalled/reinstalled about 3 times, and I downloaded new install files to make sure the install.exe wasn’t corrupt. I also searched the internet and I found something saying that other programs might secretly install on my computer when I install Quicktime and the errors might be associated with those secret programs interfering w/ Quicktime, but I ran Ad-aware and Spybot and did not find anything

Oh, and btw, I get this message when I try to stream something:

«Quicktime Unavailable

Quicktime failed to initialize. Error # 0.

Please make sure Quicktime is properly installed on this computer.»

Right after I close that error, another error box pops up:

«Plugin Error

The plugin did not initialize properly.»

I have no idea what a plugin is or any other stuff it’s talking about. Any help, ideas, or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I installed Quicktime Alternative and this is what I got when trying to configure QuickTime Settings:

you can always try jetaudio to play quicktime files, sometimes i use it instead of quicktime.
