Alexx60rus, если я не ошибаюсь,это движок NZ из последней серии #Z ТОЙОТОВСКИХ агрегатов.

хочу тоже поделиться своим опытом ,именно по этой серии,у нас в новосибе их реально валом,и мне уже

приходилось переберать без преувеличения десятка три.и были случаи ,когда из за этого гуталина даже распредов видно небыло!!! и причём такие машинки приходили прямиком с японских аукционов.

Здесь есть слабое место :система охлаждения,а точнее релюшка вкл. довольно мощного вентилятора,очень часто подгорает контакт, и вследствие чего эти движки перегревают ой-ой как, маслосьёмные колпачки просто деревенеют,маслосьёмные кольца залегают, масло начинает сворачиваться,и именно в головке . А там есть один хитрый маслянный канал ,через который смазываются распреды и запитанна система VVTI ,и в нём стоит фильтр-сеточка,(под заглушкой в районе генератора) которая при этом начинает активно забиваться,препятствуя течению масла. а там дальше как снежный ком,сами понимаете..

вывод: эти движки очень не любят грязного масла ,высоких температур ,плохого обслуживания и водителей раздолбаев!!!

а ремонтируются они на УРА ,разбираются ,чистятся,моются(обязательно тчательно) и собираются.

На диагностике Pontiac Vibe, причина обращения — горит чек. Подключаем сканер — ошибка P0420 — низкая эффективность катализатора.

P0420: Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)

Catalyst System Efficiency

Your Vibe’s exhaust contains hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, and other harmful gasses. Catalyst system efficiency is the percentage of these chemicals removed from the exhaust system. Oxygen sensors measure these pollutants.

4. Inspect the O2 Sensor Wiring

Over time, the oxygen sensor wiring can go bad. It is especially volatile since it is right next to the hot exhaust at all times. The downstream oxygen sensor wiring is also fragile since it is far from the ECM, and the catalytic converter can get hot (more distance to travel = more area to fail).

5. Catalytic Converter (Most Common)

The catalytic converter is responsible for scrubbing out as much pollution as possible from your Vibe’s exhaust.

Over time, it can lose its ability to strain pollutants out of the exhaust. Although modern catalytic converters are supposed to last the life of most vehicles, over time, they can lose their ability to strain pollutants out of the exhaust.

There could be some underlying problem if it has clogged, such as a misfire, an air/fuel mixture that is too rich, or oil getting into the cylinders. You can test your catalytic converter with a heat gun to see if it’s overheating (see how in the video linked below).
