Ранее на неделе Sony объявила о закрытии летом PS Store на PlayStation 3, PSP и PS Vita. Хотя это никак не скажется на возможности загружать ранее приобретенный контент, после отключения онлайн-магазинов легального способа покупки лишаться свыше двух тысяч игр, которые выходили только в цифровом формате, а многие из них будут безвозвратно утеряны из официального доступа, так как никогда не появлялись на других платформах и не получали физический релиз.
Неудивительно, что после известия о скором отключении PlayStation Store многие решили воспользоваться последним шансом пополнить свои цифровые библиотеки необходимыми играми, однако у владельцев PlayStation 3 с этим возникли проблемы. В частности, в последние дни Интернет буквально полыхает от сообщений пользователей, жалующихся на ошибки 80029509 и 80029721. Они появляются при попытке загрузить игры, причем это касается как новых покупок, так и старых, висящих в списке загрузок.
Пользователи пытаются обращаться за помощью в клиентскую поддержку PlayStation, но безрезультатно. Как пишет портал Push Square, большая часть сотрудников службы обучена решать проблемы с PS4 и PS5, тогда как вопросами по PS3 занимаются единицы. Согласно сообщениям в социальных сетях и на тематических форумах, некоторым игрокам помогло включение и отключение двукратной аутентификации, но работает это далеко не у всех.
Судя по всему, проблемы возникли из-за резкого увеличения трафика.
