Error 301 on OPL?
I am using OPL version 0.9.5 and when I try to log into the SMB server, I am getting error 301, what does it mean and how do I fix it?
In case someone else also finds their way here, I too had issues getting OPL (I tried both 0.9.1 and 0.9.3) authenticating against a Samba server running on Debian Buster, with the same OPL error. Getting OPL to use guest credentials wasn’t an issue, but I wanted to have credentials working.
The issue was that newer versions of Samba (and Windows) do not support NTLMv1 by default, but OPL does not support NTLMv2. The work-around for Samba is to add the line ntlm auth = ntlmv1-permitted to the [global] section of your Samba smb.conf file.
I’m assuming there is a way to have a modern Windows server also support NTLMv1, but I don’t use that setup so not sure.
This information should probably be mentioned in the project README.md. 😄

Ох и не хотелось мне лишний раз тему создавать, но пришлось…
Итак проблема такая при подключении к комьютеру через пачкорд OPL выдает ошибку 301: Cannot log into SMB server
в интернетах везде написано:

1. Уберите флажок с пункта «Требовать смены пароля при следующем входе в систему» в свойствах пользователя PS2.
2. В настройках OPL указан неверный пароль.
Я кое как нашел этот флажок который соответственно был отключен. Пароль 100% так как он: 1
Коннектился напрямую к ПК а не через роутер (так как открыт только Lan1)
IP на ПК ставил по правилам
В разделе — PS2 — в строке IP введите IP адрес консоли. Адрес должен быть из той же подсети, что и IP вашего ПК. То есть, если IP ПК — 192.168.0.2, IP консоли должен быть 192.168.0.X, где X — любое число от 0 до 255, кроме 2, т.к. она используется в IP ПК.
Да и вообще всё по правилам делал! Но ни в какую!
Новую учетную запись создавал и с паролем и без него, папку по сто раз заново расшаривал.
А самое смешное, что раньше все работало, но перестало после того как Я сменил процессор и материнскую плату на ПК (винду не сносил), и вроде логично винду сносить? Ан нет, попробовал на ноутбуке тоже с десяткой, и там та же история 
Драйвера на сетевую карту тоже обновил, толку ноль.
Что может быть не так? ПАМАГИТИ :'(

Yoti, С кабелем всё в порядке (у меня вообще три штуки, со всеми пробовал) Думаю, что в свете последних обновлений Винды, где-то какую-то защиту поставили.
ПС Брендмаузер весь выключил даже.
Всё что там написано, мною воспринимается как на другом языке 
Установил Win 7 на другой HDD Там все заработало, может у кого есть возможность проверить владельцам PS2 + Win 10 с последними обновлениями?
Если у кого вдруг возникнет подобная проблема, то Я нашел её решение (ну то есть мне помогли найти)

Samba and Open Ps2 loader [SOLVED]
I need help getting smb to work on linux mint so I can share my ps2 games to my console with open ps2 loader. 
I’ve spent hours trying different combinations with the smb.cfg file, reading different tutorials online and learning how to make folders sharable. I’ve gotten it to work a few times without any connection errors, but it didn’t read my game nor create the folders it normally does. Everytime I feel I finally solved a problem, a new one is waiting to appear.

I have no idea what a «open ps2 loader» is but you might want to post the output of the following commands so the folks here can see how samba is set up on your machine:

I’ve now managed to get the smb connection working, but my ps2 gives me the error «301: Cannot log into SMB server».

I really don’t like working on a samba server that has deviated this far from the defaults. It would be easier to start over but let’s see how far I can go ……….
By far the biggest problem here is that you created a share that allows guest access but you disabled guest access entirely by removing something from the default setup.
The second problem is that this client device is most likely running with an older version of SMB that is not compatible with the current state of Samba on Linux.
There is also a possible permissions issue which is easily fixed I suppose.
[1] Edit /etc/samba/smb.conf.
[2] In the [global] section add these:

server min protocol = NT1
map to guest = Bad User[3] Change your share definition to this:
[PS2SMB]
comment = PS2 SMB
guest ok = Yes
path = /home/downt/Documents/PS2SMB/
read only = No
force user = downt
[4] Restart smbd:
[5] You are going to have to remove this usershare:
[PS2SMB]
path=/home/downt/Documents/
comment=
usershare_acl=Everyone:F,
guest_ok=y
Right now you have 2 shares named the same pointing to 2 different places using 2 different methods of creating shares.
One of them has to go and I would suggest this one. You can do that by going to /var/lib/samba/usershares and deleting the PS2SMB file you find there.
Please add a [SOLVED] at the end of your original subject header if your question has been answered and solved.

Omg thank you so much altair4!!! 
I’ve spent hours searching the web for solutions and I’ve changed my smb cfg like 100 times by now. I added what you told me and finally I could get this working well.
