Epson EcoTank printers are well known for their efficiency, reliability, and high-quality prints. However, just like any other printer, they can encounter issues, especially with their wifi connectivity. This article provides a comprehensive guide on how to troubleshoot and fix wifi issues on Epson EcoTank printers.
In this guide, we will follow Abby’s step-by-step process of accessing the main board, detaching FFC cables, unscrewing screws, and detaching the main board to access the wifi board. Abby demonstrates how to fix the issue by replacing the wifi board and then putting everything back together.
The first step is to access the main board. To do this, you need to take off the side cover and detach the FFC cables from the scanner. On the other side, you will find a hinge that has two screws that hold the scanner up. Take out these screws and detach the FFC cables. Your scanner should come right off. Once you have the left side panel off, move on to the right side of the printer. You will find a screw on the little back panel, and once you take it off, it will expose your waste tank. Take out the screw that holds the waste tank in and pull out the waste tank. Remove the screw at the top where it meets in the corner and pull it out.
You should now have the long top cover on the back. You will see two screws, and it’s the top one that will release this long back top cover. It takes a little pulling because of the way it hooks in on the other side, but now you should be able to see the main board. You need to be able to unscrew it and detach it, so take out that back duplexer. You will find a hole through which you can stick your drill and unscrew the middle screw. Detach some FFC cables, and you can take out some of the cables.
There will be three screws in the main board, one in the middle, and one on the right and left corners on top. There’s also a little metal plate that connects from the main board to a plastic part on the printer. It’s just easier if you take that off instead of trying to wiggle the main board out of it. You will find just two screws that hold that little metal piece.
Now, here’s the part where we were missing our wifi board. If your wifi board is faulty, you can just pull it off and put another one in. Match the pins up correctly and push it down into place. It should fit. Once you’ve replaced the wifi board, put it back in and follow the steps backward as to how we took it apart. Set it back up, and the error of a wifi error should disappear.
In conclusion, Epson EcoTank printers are great printers that can encounter wifi issues. However, this guide has provided a comprehensive step-by-step process of troubleshooting and fixing these issues. By following the process that Abby has demonstrated, you should be able to access the main board, detach FFC cables, unscrew screws, and detach the main board to access the wifi board. You can then replace the wifi board and put everything back together. By doing so, your Epson EcoTank printer should be functioning as good as new.

Epson. 302608
После повторного включения работает какое-то время (примерно сутки), и опять выключается.
2. Сегодня отвалился Wi-Fi, появилась ошибка:
Wi-Fi не работает. Обратитесь в Службу поддержки Epson. 202620
Сброс до заводских установок не помог, wi-fi так и не завелся!
Если со второй ошибкой хоть что-то понятно, что означает первая ошибка 302608?
Как можно все это сбросить в домашних условиях?
