Стоит задача в удалении всех metro-приложений из Windows 8.1. Pro.

Делал это из-под WinPE через DISM следующим образом:

Dism.exe /Image:c:\ /Get-Provisionedappxpackages 
Dism.exe /Image:c:\ /Remove-Provisionedappxpackage /PackageName:Microsoft...... 
Dism.exe /Image:c:\ /Remove-Provisionedappxpackage /PackageName:Microsoft...... 
и т.д.

Далее загрузился в ОС и обнаружил, что в система остались следующие приложения:

  • OneDrive
  • Камера
  • Магазин
  • Параметры компьютера
  • Фотографии

Магазин не удаляется по понятным причинам. Но вот почему остаются другие приложения — не ясно.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, как удалить все оставшиеся приложения?

Нет. В указанном мной руководстве можно удалить даже сам магазин Windows физически. Это конечно нужно лишь для тех, кто хочет полностью избавиться, насколько это вообще возможно, от любой слежки Microsoft или для максимального уменьшения Windows к примеру.
На самом деле, в противоречие многим статьям, которые я читал ранее, магазин Windows вовсе не является нужным приложением для Windows. В Windows Server 2019 он вообще не установлен. Кроме того, там представлены возможности вытряхивания и другого барахла Windows, которое явно не может быть удалено при помощи Uninstall Tools или даже при помощи PowerShell.
По этому руководству лично я Винду не пробовал чистить. Так, что это выбор каждого.
Но скажу по своему опыту чистки Винды, что может пропасть возможность установки «глобальных» обновлений. Так, что если начинать чистить, то навсегда и после полного обновления до последней версии. Вообще это может коснуться только самих функций Винды. Игры и устанавливаемые программы не страдают.
Восьмёрка, без обновлений и со сжатием файлов, уменьшается примерно до 5,5 Гб. Загрузка Винды — почти мгновенная.
Такую, чищенную Винду, можно использовать, как Windows для Hyper-V на виртуальном диске в оперативной памяти. (вирусы, проверка программ перед основной установкой). Если к этому добавить ещё это руководство, то наверное возможно было бы избавился ещё от 100-150 мБ, что было бы не плохо, учитывая стоимость оперативы и ограниченность несерверных материнок.

Делал это из-под WinPE через DISM следующим образом:

Dism.exe /Image:c: /Remove-Provisionedappxpackage /PackageName:Microsoft...... 
и т.д.

Далее загрузился в ОС и обнаружил, что в система остались следующие приложения:

  • OneDrive
  • Камера
  • Магазин
  • Параметры компьютера
  • Фотографии

Магазин не удаляется по понятным причинам. Но вот почему остаются другие приложения — не ясно.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, как удалить все оставшиеся приложения?

Нет. В указанном мной руководстве можно удалить даже сам магазин Windows физически. Это конечно нужно лишь для тех, кто хочет полностью избавиться, насколько это вообще возможно, от любой слежки Microsoft или для максимального уменьшения Windows к примеру.
На самом деле, в противоречие многим статьям, которые я читал ранее, магазин Windows вовсе не является нужным приложением для Windows. В Windows Server 2019 он вообще не установлен. Кроме того, там представлены возможности вытряхивания и другого барахла Windows, которое явно не может быть удалено при помощи Uninstall Tools или даже при помощи PowerShell.
По этому руководству лично я Винду не пробовал чистить. Так, что это выбор каждого.
Но скажу по своему опыту чистки Винды, что может пропасть возможность установки «глобальных» обновлений. Так, что если начинать чистить, то навсегда и после полного обновления до последней версии. Вообще это может коснуться только самих функций Винды. Игры и устанавливаемые программы не страдают.
Восьмёрка, без обновлений и со сжатием файлов, уменьшается примерно до 5,5 Гб. Загрузка Винды — почти мгновенная.
Такую, чищенную Винду, можно использовать, как Windows для Hyper-V на виртуальном диске в оперативной памяти. (вирусы, проверка программ перед основной установкой). Если к этому добавить ещё это руководство, то наверное возможно было бы избавился ещё от 100-150 мБ, что было бы не плохо, учитывая стоимость оперативы и ограниченность несерверных материнок.

* Имя пакета и Имя исполняемого файла может изменятся в зависимости от приложения. Например, имя пакета может быть как Microsoft.WindowsStore_2016.8.3.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe ,  ИМЯ исполняемого файла  может быть C: Program…… 

Если вы получаете эту ошибку, необходимо проверить запись журнала для этого процесса, с помощью просмотра событий, который расскажет вам о причинах  ошибки. В целом, следует отметить , что эта ошибка проявляется, если владелец ключа реестра в пакете приложения по какой то причине изменен. Если вернуть владелеца ключа реестра по умолчанию Система, то мы можем легко избежать проблему.

Как исправить — Сбой развертывания с HRESULT: 0x80073CF6, Не удалось зарегистрировать пакет. Merge Failure: ошибка: 0x80070003: не удается зарегистрировать пакет Microsoft. 

1. Нажмите Win + R и введите Regedit в диалоговом окне Выполнить, чтобы открыть редактор реестра. Нажмите кнопку ОК. 

2.  Перейдите в следующий раздел реестра: 

HKEY_CURRENT_USER Software Classes Local Settings Software Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion AppModel Repository Packages * Имя Пакета* 

* Имя пакета , который вы получили с ошибкой, например —  Microsoft.WindowsStore_2016.29.13.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe. 

3. Теперь с помощью правой кнопкой мыши кликнув на ключе реестра с именем пакета выберите в контекстном меню Разрешения… . Нажмите  кнопку Дополнительно  в окне свойств (см скриншот ниже). 

4. Далее, в Дополнительных параметрах безопасности,  необходимо проверить владельца ключа. Так как вы столкнулись с ошибкой, владелец может быть любой другой, кроме Системы. Таким образом , необходимо установить Система по умолчанию в качестве владельца. Нажмите на ссылку Изменить. 

5. Затем нажмите кнопку Дополнительно и перейдите в окно Выбор Пользователь или Группа. 

6. Двигаясь дальше, в показанном ниже окне нажмите кнопку Поиск. Затем прокрутите вниз результаты поиска и выберите СИСТЕМА . Нажмите кнопку ОК . 

Теперь вы должны увидеть Система в окне Выбор Пользователь или Группа. Нажмите кнопку ОК . 

7. И, наконец, вы установили Система в качестве владельца ключа реестра. Проверьте чекбоксы, опции  — Заменить владельца на подконтейнеров и объектов и Заменить все записи разрешений дочернего объекта наследуемыми от этого объекта, должны быть включены. 

Нажмите Применить затем ОК . Нажмите кнопку OK в окне свойств , а также. Закройте редактор реестра . 

Теперь перезагрузите компьютер и попробуйте повторно зарегистрировать приложение.

    Метро приложения не удалились.
    У меня есть 2 учётные записи. Одна из них администратор. Обычно я работаю под вторым, т.е. обычной пользователь. Я пытался удалить метро приложения windows power shell коммандой: Get-AppxPackage | Remove-AppxPackage . Приложения не были удалены. Это работает только для администратора учётной записи.

    Remove-AppxPackage : Сбой развертывания с HRESULT: 0x80073CFA, Сбой удаления. Обратитесь к поставщику программного

    обеспечения. (Исключение из HRESULT: 0x80073CFA)

    Ошибка 0x80070032: произошел сбой операции развертывания AppX Remove для пакета

    1527c705-839a-4832-9118-54d4Bd6a0c89_10.0.18362.387_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy из

    C:\WINDOWS\SystemApps\Microsoft.Windows.FilePicker_cw5n1h2txyewy. Это приложение является частью Windows, и его

    невозможно удалить для конкретных пользователей. Администратор может попытаться отключить его на компьютере с помощью

  2. Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

    I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
    We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
    Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

    Step 2:
    I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

    Step 3:
    It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

  3. Microsoft Edge TLS Security

    After trying everything (not a lot of steps) listed in the Microsoft Edge support site, I did a wider search and found this very simple youtube video that fixed it immediately:

    For those who prefer not to click links the steps are simple:

    1. Click in the Cortana search bar next to the Win 10 Start button

    2. Type internet options

    3. Select internet options (control panel) from the list

    4. Click on the advanced tab

    5. Scroll down to the security section

    6. Make sure the following are all clicked:
    Use SSL 3.0
    Use TLS 1.0
    Use TLS 1.1
    Use TLS 1.2

    7. Click apply

    8. Refresh the page that was giving the error and it should now connect.

    Hope this helps, it was a 30 second fix after hours of pounding my head against the error with the Support site suggestions.
