Решение:
— Убедитесь, что картридж установлен в свою позицию.
— Убедитесь, что картридж правильный (не от другого аппарата).
— Убедитесь, что картридж надежно зафиксирован.
— Убедитесь, что дверца закрыта.

— Замените неисправный картридж.
— Замените дверцу тонерного отсека.
— Если действия, перечисленные выше, не помогли — замените плату MCU PWB.

Корпорации Xerox упорно не везло с выпуском цветных лазерных  принтеров начального  уровня. Сначала был принтер Xerox Phaser 6110,  который был разработан компанией Samsung ( CLP-300).  Из-за ряда технических недоработок инженеров Samsung принтер  имел целый букет неисправностей, связанных с блоком формирования изображения. Далее на смену Phaser 6110 был выпущен принтер Xerox 6121. Принтер Xerox 6121 был разработан компанией Minolta (оригинал имел название Minolta 1600), но и он из-за грубых просчетов  инженеров Minolta имел целую кучу дефектов, связанных с узлом термозакрепления и сбоем в работе карусели с картриджами. После серии неудач Xerox выпустил новый принтер — Xerox Phaser 6000. В отличии от предыдущих моделей принтеров начального уровня, этот принтер был разработан  Xerox совместно с компанией  Fuji Xerox. Этот принтер в техническим плане оставил далеко позади своих конкурентов (minolta 1600/Samsung clp-320). Не смотря на то, что эти принтеры построены на абсолютно разных платформах, они имеют один общий нюанс — все эти аппараты при продаже имеют картриджи без чипов. В качестве чипов используются просто муляжи.  Так как стартовые картриджи не могут содержать в себе данных по объему картриджей  и количеству отпечатанных  страниц, то эти данные как правило хранятся в принтере в энергонезависимой памяти. По аналогии с двумя предыдущими принтерами была предпринята попытка найти эту память и попробовать ее обнулить.  Так как в наличии имелось два аппарата  — один новый только из коробки, а второй уже заблокированный по синему картриджу, то задача сильно упростилась. По аналогии с принтерами Samsung,  с нового принтера в заблокированный была установлена плата форматера. После включения ситуация не изменилась  Xerox 6000 все так же был заблокирован по синему картриджу. Далее  меняли местами платы MCU — это платы синего цвета, расположенные сверху принтера. При дальнейшем включении принтер показал 100%  тонера в картриджах.  Локализовав плату, где хранятся  счетчики,  осталось всего лишь найти энергонезависимую память.  Внимательный осмотр и дальнейшее тестирования выявило, что данные хранятся в микросхеме 24с16, на плате MCU микросхема имеет обозначение  «416m«.
Таким образом, для того, чтобы восстановить работоспособность принтера без замены чипа, достаточно просто каждый раз прошивать микросхему 24с16. Для удобства можно вместо микросхемы 24с16 в корпусе SO8 напаять кроватку под микросхему 24с16 в корпусе DIP8 — это позволит производить прошивку микросхемы без выпаивания микросхемы, что не только сократит в разы время прошивки, но и убережет дорожки платы от  повреждений, неизбежных при постоянном перепаивании микросхемы.

Учитывая, что ресурс стартовых картриджей имеет ограничение в 500 копий (потом снова необходимо прошивать микросхему), то в коммерческом плане данная операция не имеет смысла. Но вот если принтер находится, например, где- нибудь в российской глубинке, где до населенного пункта несколько десятков километров, то прошивка принтера -это реальный выход из ситуации.

Procedure

– Identify accurate version, serial and crum of Xerox printer.

– Before you continue with the reprogramming of the firmware, please make sure that the device is installed on your computer.
– It is very important that under no circumstances should you remove the chip from the cartridge while reprogramming the firmware. After you have succesfully reprogrammed the printer, remove the chip from the cartridge and store it somewhere safely (the chip – a key). In all cartridges which you are going to use in the printer, the chip has to be either removed or sealed. If you have accidently inserted a new cartridge without removing the chip, the device will be blocked. In order to unblock it, you can use the stored chip as a key which help you to unblock the printer.
– And make sure that any other devices (except mouse and keyboard), which are connected to your computer via USB or LPT ports are disconnected. It’s preferable that the computer is connected to the “UPS” (uninterruptible power source) device, because if during the reprogramming process the electricity source has any interruptions, then the reprogramming will be carried out with an error, which makes the device unable to work.
– This firmware will be installed directly to your printer. Before opening firmare link make sure that printer is turned on and connected to your computer and printer drivers are installed correctly.
Be aware that with the reprogramming of the firmware the manufacturer’s warranty goes lost!!

How To Run Firmware Fix Xerox printer

1. Connect the printer to the computer and turn it on.
2. Wait until the printer is ready for work.
3. Drag and drop *.hd to usbprns2.exe file.

4. The reprogramming process starts automatically.
5. Wait until the printer reprograms (10-20 minute) and restarts.
6. After that the reprogramming process is finished, restart the printer.

    Dell 3010 nc code 093-960

    It tells me that I have to reinstall yellow toner. I put a new OEM yellow toner in it and it keeps telling me to add toner. Never worked on one before. Hope someone has seen this problem. Does dell keep it close to the vest. Should I walk away. Thanks, Kurt

BSD-ON: BSD 9.6 Toner Cartridge Life Control (Y, M), BSD 9.7 Toner Cartridge Life Control (C, K).

093-926 Invalid authentication area data of black toner cartridge CRUM detected.
093-960 Invalid authentication area data of yellow toner cartridge CRUM detected.

Procedure

Perform the steps that follow:
