Tech support told the me fuser can cause the problem. Put fuser in, no help.
At first the copy would jam twice at registration roller than c0800 code would come.
Put controller board in. Now the envelope motor constantly turns and finally will throw C6030 fuser code with either new or used fuser.
I guess I’m going try Kyocera tech help again. Wish me luck. If anybody any ideas that would great. This machine is only about 8 months old.

First thing to understand about C0800 is that the jam is not significant. The device pre-stages paper at the REG roller while the imaging system is stabilizing.

If the system fails to establish imaging stabilization after a certain period of time, the C0800 code occurs and the system halts with the paper staged at the REG roller.

Stabilization failure can come from a variety of causes and this code is a bugger to track down. Fuser has been seen in several cases, but any number of problems in calibration or even system setting of things like env motor position can cause it.

A couple of cases-
M3550idn: Cold solder YC2 PS PWB
FS-4100dn: Engine PWB
MFP models tend to be fuser related but again — no real single cause.

If it is under warranty, get a case open so you can get re-imbursed for those parts. Put the original controller back in and do a sales return on the repacement controller. Texas can figure out if its bad or not.

Check that Fuser wiring and it’s connections on the engine/controller side, particularly that envelope motor/sensor signal.

Good Luck

One possible explanation would be that there is a scanning to email issue. This is a very annoying and frustrating error that can cause you to not send an email or fax correctly. That is, your problem might be caused by a problem with your device, or it could be an issue with your internet connection. Sometimes, there is a virus that blocks you from sending emails properly. Generally, it is necessary to perform a few troubleshooting steps to fix this error.

First, this error typically shows that the image processing problem JAM05 was detected twice. This is a result of a defective main PWB. So, replace the main PWB and check that it is still operating correctly. Do not forget to connect the connectors on the main PWB. If the wires are pinched by the other part or if they have been damaged, repair or replace them. When the issue is not resolved, you should change the PWB from the main page.

Another way to resolve this is to reset the unit. Enter the code ‘10871087’ from the keypad. Your network should now be in maintenance mode. Enter the code “163” and press the “start or print” key. At some point you should see a screen that says ‘execute.’. Cursor or highlight. Press the Start/Print key. Then it will turn off again and come back to being ready. If that is no the case, then you must replace the fixing unit.

As for the last step, you can call customer service and ask them to fix the problem. You can also call the customer service number or visit their website to make a request. When you report to one of our customer support departments that there is something wrong with your screen, they will often ask for the code that you sent to them. That will allow them to tell you what action you should take, and what kind of solution you should approach.

That will allow them to tell you what action you should take, and what kind of solution you should approach.

corrective measures

1. Make sure that the back-up batteries on

the main/engine PWB are not short-

circuited.

2. Reset Maintenance T by executing

U906 (see page 1-3-114).

3. If the same C call is displayed when

power is switched on and off, replace the

back up battery.

4. If communication error (due to a noise,

etc.) is present with the RTC on the

main/engine PWB, check the PWB is

properly grounded.

1. Confirm that the wiring connector is

firmly connected and, if necessary,

connect the connector all the way in.
