Тут все очень просто. 

Пока у вас есть ошибки, кран работает в аварийном режиме. Это значит — низкая скорость, низкая грузоподъёмность и ограничение на работу некоторых операций, в частности — выдвижение телескопа. 

Как считывать коды

Число с точкой — количество ошибок, далее высвечивается код с минимальным номером. По мере устранения ошибок будут появляться остальные коды. Либо надо подключать компьютер, тогда можно увидеть все ошибки сразу.

То, что число с точкой у вас меняется — значит меняется количество ошибок. Это значит, что какая то неисправность сама «исправляется». Такое может быть, например, при плохом контакте в разъёмах датчиков. 

Сами коды:

03 — нажата кнопка «Стоп» или включен режим ДУ, но пульт выключен, или нет связи пульта с краном. 

22 — нет датчика наклона второй стрелы.

Остальные по мере устранения первых. 

Порядок выдвижения секций телескопа на этом кране произвольный, то есть в начале может выдвинутая последняя (самая тонкая) секция, потом первая (самая толстая). 

Все зависит от того, как легко сама секция выдвигается/задвигается. Которая легче, та и выезжает в первую очередь. 

HIAB Error Codes - Truckloaders' top tips to help you diagnose them

Your HIAB has its own inbuilt sophisticated monitoring system of sensors and controller chips that constantly checks the vital signs and can warn you when something is wrong. When a fault is diagnosed it flashes up a coded message on the control panel. Knowing how to interpret these codes is a key factor in understanding what they mean when they occur and then setting about fixing the cause of the problem if possible.

Stop Everything!

If your equipment is not working properly and warning lights are flashing, then it is vitally important to stop using it immediately. To do otherwise can cause further damage.

A Warning About HIAB Error Codes

There are some common error codes. For example:

  • 1 = Power Off
  • 3 = Emergency Stop
  • 49 = Needs a Service

But every crane is different. In total there are about 200 fault codes and they are constantly changing. Therefore it is always best to call the experts at Truck Loaders to check what a code means before attempting any repair. Making decisions based on what you might find online can be very risky indeed and may have unforeseen and unfortunate negative consequences.

What Warning Signs Should You Be Looking Out For?

It’s no more than common sense and good practice to keep a close watch on your equipment at all times. Many faults present symptoms that tell you that something is wrong even before you check for diagnostic error codes. Keeping a private log book of your own to record events about your equipment is an excellent idea and also fills the gaps in our naturally faulty memories.

Things to watch for:

  • Sudden vibrations or juddering
  • Changes in mobility or pace
  • Strange noises or smells
  • Flashing light on the control panel
  • Error code on the control panel

How Can You Check For HIAB Error Codes?

  1. Find the ‘space’ box at the base of the crane that has the control panel.
  2. Using a 5mm Allen key, unscrew the 4 corner bolts and remove the front cover.
  3. Push the Power button at the bottom left to fire up the panel and make the lights come on.
  4. The digital readout is at the top left and should show a series of numbers flashing up.
  5. The number to the left of the full stop is the count of faults detected. For example, ‘3.001’ means there are 3 faults. Numbers to the right of the full stop are the actual error codes. For example, if 2. 001 034 flashes up, 2 faults 001 and 034 have been detected.
  6. Replace the front cover and the 4 corner bolts.

Your best course of action is to call Truck Loaders on 0330 999 0003 or any official HIAB partner to report the fault. Our team may try to walk you through fixing the root cause but most likely they will arrange an engineer to call out and inspect the problem.

It’s a very good idea to take a photo of the control panel with your mobile so that you can send it to us if we need it. We also need the machine’s serial number.

There are many codes for different machines. Play safe and call us first before trying to get information on the Internet.

Emergency Stop (dumpvalve deactivated)
The max allowed speeds are reduced to err_speed (%)
The full inner boom LOS speed reduction is set for the different functions (err_speed
used if the crane doesn’t have LOS)
The max allowed loads for inner boom, outer boom and jib is reduced to err_load % of
what the max allowed speed otherwise should be.
The out-direction for the extension and jib-extension are stopped.
SPACE asks the PSBI to switch off the dump supply. This action is automatically disabled the first 10 seconds after power-on.
Most of the errors are reset automatically when the faulty condition disap­pears, but a few errors requires to be
reset manually. A manual reset can be done with the terminal (ERRORS / CLEAR) or by switching the SPACE
power off and on.

When item is selected information is shown about:

• Total time — Number of hours that the crane has been

engaged

• Use time – Number of hours that dump valve has been

active

• Lift count – Number of lifts made

• Time to service – Number of hours with the crane

engaged until next service

• Use time to next service – Number of hours with dump

valve active until next service

• Lifts to service – Number of lifts until next service

VSL or Slewing sector

If this item is selected the truck VSL diagram is shown. The diagram shows six sectors surrounding

the crane. In each sector a percentage of maximum lifting capacity available is shown. High

stability in a sector will give a high percentage of lifting capacity. The different sectors are marked in

colors green, yellow, grey or red where green indicates the highest percentage of lifting capacity

and red indicates the lowest percentage.

Function indication

If function LSS-V is activated the screen turns blue and a

symbol of a hook is shown. This to notify the operator of

the occurrence. When the screen goes back to normal the

symbol of the hook is shown in the top right of the screen.

When deactivating LSS-V the screen turns blue again and

the hook symbol is shown, this time crossed in a red circle.

The hook symbol in the top right of the screen disappears.

8.8.4. Error codes

SPACE has many error codes that can help you or Hiab technicians solve some problems with the

system and/or a defective component. You can see the codes if you have the external display or a

display on your controller.

If you have an error that is not in the following list, you must speak to your Hiab authorised service

workshop.

TIP

If you have an error, try to restart the system one time, then verify that you still

have the code on the screen before troubleshooting.

E003: Emergency stop

1. Set crane in manual mode.

2. Make sure that no emergency stop buttons are pushed on the crane or the controller.

E010: Lever not centred

Levers are not centred when the emergency stops are released. The error can be caused by lever

not in neutral position or defective lever on the controller. If the operator operates a lever before the
