Вожу пассат В5. Американец. Столкнулся с такой проблемой.
На панели стала загораться фраза «handbreak on», соответственно языку рынка продажи авто, все на панели по английски. Означает она в переводе на русский — «натянут ручник» при движении. Горит она понапрасну, т.к. с натянутым ручником я естественно не езжу. Машина едет, двигатель работает, коробку не блокирует, но эта проблема отключает дворники, омыватель и кондиционер.
Раньше такая проблема возникала время от времени, и быстро пропадала сама собой. Но однажды «хендбрейк» основательно залип.При каждом запуске двигателя и движении авто происходило пищание панели со спецэффектами в виде горения лампочки ручника и письмами на панели.
Скидывал концевик ручника, он оказался не при чем.
Вообще с этим хендбрейком была целая история. Проблема пропадала сама собой при включении кондиционера на полную, либо при тряске на кочке, либо после психозного удара ладонью по панели в следствии писка.
Причина оказалась очень простой. У мозгов слез проводок массы. Поставили обратно — все работает. С регулировкой сигналки и музыки в авто электрик взял 600 руб. Были личности, (да даже таковых большинство) которые предлагали сделать для начала диагностику за 500, а потом только искать причину в проводке, естественно за отдельные деньги. Я от таких просто молча уезжал, что и вам советую.

Как говорится, начинать надо всегда с малого. У меня смекалки посмотреть дальше концевика видимо не хватило. Ну что ж, надеюсь кому то запись пригодится.

Проблема пропадала сама собой при включении кондиционера на полную, либо при тряске на кочке, либо после психозного удара ладонью по панели в следствии писка ее. Залипла и не отлипает после того, как отремонтировал соединение компрессора и кондиционера на фишке.
Может быть кто то сталкивался с аналогичной проблемой? Сразу скажу, кто колодки, уровень тормозухи, концевики бачков и колодок в норме. Кроме того, на проблемы с тормозухой и колодками как ни на все остальное, электроника дает разные указания. Кто что посоветует?!
Сегодня сел в машину, тронулся и тут раздается сигнал и на приборке maxidot надпись «Handbrake On» и я сразу то не понял, в шоке, сначала подумал датчик износа тормозных колодок, да вроде рано менять, и увидел лампочку ручника и тут до меня дошло, что именно хотел мне сказать maxidotыч! Завидую белой завистью у кого рестайл и все пишет на русском!)

You can follow the brake cable back to the rear of the car.
I’m not sure if it goes to the right or left rear.
In so doing you can see if it has any damage. A bad kink in it, torn cable housing (if you can see the actual cable in the housing due to damage….that’s not good)
Parking Break Mechanism
The cable will lead to that. You’ve probably seen it by now. The arm the cable is typically attached to has a worm screw mechanism to push a caliper piston in when it is actuated. So the transfer of power is through the housing and on the cable to the arm, though the worm screw, through the piston to the pad and against the disc.
At the point where the housing is terminated on the arm there is a clip that can be removed. This will allow you to disconnect the cable. You will want to inspect it and lube it. Ensure the cable moves freely in the housing, if bound, replace it. Lube the cable with a graphite lubricant.

If it’s not the cable that’s giving you the issue then now your leaning to the caliper mechanism that has an issue.
You would need to remove your wheel and the caliper in order to inspect it and verify that it is operating properly.
