С Gears 5 приключилась скверная история. В данной статье будут приведены наиболее часто встречающиеся проблемы с игрой Gears 5 и способы их устранения. Но перед этим стоит ознакомиться с системными требованиями игры, так как на них будут завязаны некоторые проблемы игры.
Ошибки на Windows 10
Начнем со списка ошибок, которые возникают на Windows 10, о которых сообщили сами разработчики.
- GW500. Видеокарта не соответствует минимальным требованиям. Карта должна поддерживать DirectX 12 (уровень функций 11). Придется менять видеокарту;
- GW501. Драйвер видеокарты не совместим с игрой. Обновите видеодрайвера;
- GW502. Видеокарта была обнаружена, но она не отвечает. Попробуйте перезагрузить ПК;
- GW503. Видеокарта не была обнаружена. Обновите драйвера на видеокарту;
- GW504. Видеокарта не соответствует минимальным требованиям игры. Придется заменить карту;
- GW510. Недостаточно видеопамяти. Скорее всего ваша видеокарта имеет менее 2 GB видеопамяти. Рекомендуется играть на карте как минимум с 2 GB памяти иначе это повлияет на производительность;
- GW511. Не хватает оперативной памяти. Для игры требуется минимум 6 GB ОЗУ;
- GW512. Недостаточно свободной оперативной памяти. На вашей системе есть как минимум 6 GB ОЗУ, однако в настоящий момент свободной памяти менее 6 GB. Рекомендуется закрыть все ненужные программы перед запуском игры;
- GW513. На устройстве нет свободной памяти. Закройте все ненужные программы, что бы освободить память. В настройках игры уменьшите значение «Масштабируемого разрешения».
Игра не запускается
- Если при запуске игра выдает ошибки DirectX Runtime Error, DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG и подобные, то стоит обновить или переустановить DirectX;
- При запуске игры открывается черный экран. Стоит обновить драйвера на видеокарту. Так же попробуйте переключить игру в оконный режим путем нажатия клавиш Alt+Enter;
- Если игра ссылается на отсутствие какого либо файла.dll, то стоит обновить или переустановить Visual C++. Так же возможно потребуется переустановить игру. Можно скачать недостающий файл из интернета, но есть риск скачать вирусный файл.
Игра вылетает
- Если игра вылетает без каких либо ошибкой, то стоит перед запуском отключить все ненужные программы. Так же обновите драйвера на видеокарту и понизьте уровень графики в игре;

Выводы
В данной статье не приведены проблемы, связанные с сетью, например рассинхроном. Все это должно быть устранено разработчиками. А так у игры не мало проблем, но большая их часть будет устраняться патчами. Но сами разработчики признают, что игра не без проблем и даже решили компенсировать это вручением внутриигровых подарков игрокам.

GT100 : Your graphics card is below the minimum spec
This means that the graphics card in your Windows device does not meet the minimum requirements. Your graphics card must support DirectX 12 (Feature Level 11).
Solution: Upgrade your graphics card to meet the minimum requirements to play the game and try again.
GT101: Your graphics card is incompatible with the game
This means that the graphics card driver installed on your Windows device has known compatibility problems.
Solution: Visit the website for your graphics card manufacturer and update to the latest driver.
GT102: Your video card has stopped responding
This means that the graphics card in your Windows device has stopped responding and was reset by the operating system.
Solution: Visit the website for your graphics card manufacturer and update to the latest driver. If you’re using the latest driver, try reducing your visual settings.
GT103: Your graphics card is not detected
This means that a graphics card was not detected.
Solution: Your graphics card may be in an unstable state. Try rebooting your Windows device.
GT104: Your graphics card is below the minimum spec
This means that your graphics card was detected to be below the minimum spec for Gears Tactics.
Solution: We recommend the following graphics cards:
- AMD Radeon RX 570 or AMD Radeon RX 5700
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti
You can continue to play the game, but performance may not be optimal.
GT105: Your graphics card is not supported
This means that your graphics card is not supported by the graphics card manufacturer on the operating system that you’re using.
Solution: We recommend that you update your OS to Windows 10. You may be able to play the game, but stability and performance will be reduced.
GT110: Your graphics card doesn’t have enough VRAM
This means that your graphics card was detected to have less than 2 GB of video memory.
Solution: We recommend that your graphics card have at least 2 GB of video memory. You can continue to play the game with less video memory, but quality and performance may be affected.
GT111: Your system doesn’t have enough RAM
This means that your Windows device was detected to have less than 6 GB of system memory.
Solution: We recommend that your Windows device have at least 6 GB of system memory installed.
GT112: Your system is low on RAM
This means that your Windows device does not have enough free memory available to run the game.
Solution: We recommend that your Windows device have at least 5 GB of system memory free. Try closing other programs to free up memory.
GT113: Your system is out of memory
This means that your Windows device is out of memory.
Solution: Ensure that your graphics card and Windows device meet the minimum memory requirements. We recommend that your graphics card have at least 2 GB of video memory, and that your Windows device have at least 6 GB of system memory installed.
Note: Reducing “Scaled Resolution” in the in-game settings and closing other running programs may help free up memory.
Your System Is Low On RAM
- GW512: This means that your Windows device does not have enough free memory available to run the game.
- GW513: This means that your Windows device is out of memory.
Solutions:
- We recommend that your Windows device have at least 6GB of system memory free. Try closing other programs to free up memory.
- Ensure your graphics card and Windows device meet the minimum memory requirements.
- We recommend that your graphics card have at least 2GB of video memory.
- Reducing “Scaled Resolution” in the in-game settings and closing other running programs may help free up memory.
GT102
The error “GT102” indicates the GPU has stopped communicating with Windows. When this happens Windows will instruct the driver to go into recovery mode, which resets the GPU. When the GPU is reset the game receives an error that the GPU has been removed and shuts down.
There are a few steps you can follow to try to resolve the problem:
- Make sure you have updated your graphics drivers:
- Intel: Latest at time of this post: 26.20.100.8141
- AMD: Latest at time of this post: Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.4.2
- NVIDIA: Latest at time of this post: 445.87
- Restart the computer. If this error occurs, sometimes the driver can remain in an unstable state after it resets the GPU.
- If you are playing at a high desktop resolution (or with multiple monitors at high resolution) you can try reducing the display resolution or disabling extra monitors.
- You can delete the local cache stored in this folder: %localappdata%\GearsTactics. This will reset video settings and remove some cached graphics data. The game will go through first time boot again, but your save games will not be affected.
- If you are running the Windows Store version of the game, open a command prompt window as an administrator and run the command “sfc /scannow”. This will run a system file check and repair any corrupt files.
- If the above steps don’t work try going back a version for the graphics driver.
- If you are still experiencing problems there are a few areas to check on your hardware:
- Check the cable being used to connect the display to the GPU. If you are using a high resolution display make sure you are using a high speed HDMI or Display Port cable.
- Check the power supply and make sure it can supply enough power. Most common setups will require a 500 watt power supply. A high end GPU and CPU can increase this requirement to 600 or 700 watts.
- Check the power connection to the GPU. If your GPU has a 12 pin, 14 pin or 16 pin connection, it can benefit from having two separate power cables from the power supply instead of one power cable that is split at the end.
