    Do you have any old scenarios subscriped to the workshop or in the Empyrion — Galactic SurvivalContentScenarios… Folder?
    If so. Unsubscribe and remove all old Scenarios pleae then try again

    I keep crashing at ~86-96% of planets loading when creating a new game.

    Hi all,

    Thank you for your responses, I didn’t include log or save files because they almost identical.

    I have been talking to ‘Dave’ (the legend) at support, and his most recent instructions, which I opted not to take a shortcut on, worked . — See below. I had tried these individually before with no success, so the combination seemed to fix, @Babu Frik give it a go and let us know!

    Can you please unsubscribe from any scenarios you are subscribed to on the steam workshop then try again ?

    If that doesn’t work please try this completely uninstall Empyrion & then reinstall after doing the following steps

    1. Right click on Empyrion in your steam library > Properties > Local files > Browse local files > Saves
       Make a backup copy of any saves & blueprints you have in another folder away from steam or place them on another drive.
       Also if you have any custom scenarios, playfields or configs etc you will want to back them up & also move them away from from the root Empyrion installation folder which are all found in the «Contents» folder.
    2. Select Empyrion in your steam library & select the uninstall option & when that is completed delete the «Empyrion — Galactic Survival» folder in your Steamsteamappscommon folder so everything is completely wiped
    3. Delete these folders called «Eleon Game Studios» in these locations if they are found there:
       C:Users<YourUserName>AppDataLocalTempEleon Game Studios
       C:Users<YourUserName>AppDataLocalLowEleon Game Studios
    4. Open windows regedit navigate to here «ComputerHKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareEleon Game Studios» & right click on «Empyrion — Galactic Survival» in the list & delete it then close regedit.
    5. Restart your PC
    6. Reinstall Empyrion in your steam library select Empyrion & select install & wait for it to finish downloading. When the download is complete:
       Right click on Empyrion in your steam library > Properties > Local files > Browse local files
       & place your saves, blueprints, custom scenarios etc back.»

    Update: Just to note, the differences in logs where CPU, GPU (although both AMD), Username, save location, planet names, thats about it.

Empyrion – Galactic Survival PC is facing errors and issues like internal error, crash at startup, Access Violation (0xc0000005), disk write error, stuttering, and more. Here I have compiled a list of Empyrion errors and issues that players are experiencing along with their fixes and workarounds.

Empyrion Crashing, Stuttering, And Fixes

Empyrion – Galactic Survival is a 3D open-world space sandbox survival adventure that has finally come out of Steam Early Access. However, Empyrion PC is still facing errors and issues like internal error, crashing, the game not launching, stuttering, Access Violation (0xc0000005), disk write error, and more.

The following are the errors and issues that players are experiencing along with their fixes and workarounds. Not only that, we will also help with how to improve the game’s performance and get a 60 FPS experience.

Internal Error Fix

Empyrion Galactic Survival players are reporting that they are experiencing Internal Error and are unable to play the game. Here is how to fix the Internal Error.

One cause for the Internal Error is the Windows language settings. If you are using any other language other than English then change it to English and the error will be fixed.

Some players are experiencing the Internal Error with Empyrion Galactic Survival while they input a password to a friend’s server. If the server is a coop, then the password needs to be removed and the error will be fixed.

Disk Write Error Fix

Disk Write error is related to the system storage. There are multiple reasons why disk write error occurs and the following are the fixes.

The first fix is to give Steam the admin rights. Right-click on Steam.exe > “Properties” > “Compatibility” tab > check “Run this program as an administrator”. Apply the setting and error should be resolved.

If the error is still occurring, open CMD and run it as an administrator. Use the following commands and press enter after each of them.

diskpart
list disk
select disk # (# is the number of the hard drive in which the game is installed)
attributes disk clear readonly.

If the error still persists, go to Steam/logs/content_log. Scroll down and look for “failed to write”. Open the file and it has paths to some corrupted files. Follow the path and delete these files and the game will install. This will fix the Empyrion Galactic Survival disk write error.

UnityPlayer.dll Access Violation (0xc0000005) Fix

UnityPlayer.dll Access Violation is another error that players are experiencing when they launch Empyrion Galactic Survival. The following is the full error message.

UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005) in module UnityPlayer.dll at 0033:e52ff2d4.

To fix the Access Violation (0xc0000005) error, go to your Steam library and right-click Empyrion > Properties > Local files > Browse local files. Look for the “Empyrion.props” file and open it in notepad. Remove the # & return space before the parameter. For example:

# DisableTextureStreaming = true

DisableTextureStreaming = true

Save the changes and launch the game and the Empyrion Access Violation (0xc0000005) error will now be fixed.

Security Violation Fix

Players are reporting Game Security Violation error which is related to the Easy Anti Cheat. The following is the full error message.

Game Security Violation detected (#00000011)

To fix this error, open registry editor and navigate to “ComputerHKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareEleon Game StudiosEmpyrion – Galactic Survival” and double click on “UseEAC_h2934528033”. With the ‘Base’ set to Hexadecimal put a 0 in the ‘Value data’ box then select Ok. Launch Empyrion Galactic Survival and the Security Violation error will be fixed.

Game Not Launching, Crash At Startup Fix

Game crashing at launch is a common issue among PC video games and apparently, Empyrion Galactic Survival is no exception. According to players, the game either crashes at startup or doesn’t launch at all. Here is how to fix it.

The first fix you need to try is the same as the fix for “UnityPlayer.dll Access Violation (0xc0000005)”. This will fix the crash at the launch issue with the game.

If the issue continues to persist then your anti-virus/WindowsDefender might be blocking the game. Either disable the anti-virus or exclude the game’s install folder from it to fix the crash at startup issue with Empyrion – Galactic Survival.

Third-party monitoring tools like MSI Afterburner or any RGB software can cause the game to crash at startup. Disable any third-party tool you are using and the issue will be fixed.

Black Screen Fix

Black screen is a common issue with PC video games. According to players, when they launch the game, they get a black screen with audio playing in the background. To fix this, start the game, and when the black screen appears, press “Alt + Enter”. The game will go into Windowed mode and will start to display. Go to the vidoe setting and set a resolution that is native to your display and you’ll be able to play Empyrion – Galactic Survival is fullscreen.

Start the game and disable in-game v.sync and close the game. Open Nvidia Control Panel > > Manage 3d Settings > Program Settings > select Empyrion from the drop-down list. Make the following changes.

Anti-aliasing-FXAA – “Off”
Anti-aliasing-Gamma Correction – “Off”
CUDA GPUs – “All”
Low Latency Mode – Player’s choice.
Set Power Management to “Prefer Maximum Performance”
Shader Cache – “On” only if you are using an HDD. Don’t need to enable it for an SSD.
Set Texture filtering – Quality to “High Performance”
Triple Buffering – “Off”
Set Vertical Syn to “On”

Apply these settings and the stuttering will be fixed and you should also see a boost in FPS. If the performance issues continue to persist then follow the steps mentioned above but set Vertical Syn to “Fast”. Start the game and the in-game v.sync will remain disabled. Also, set the display mode to Fullscreen. This will not only fix stuttering but can potentially give players a smooth 60 FPS experience.

Такое бывает при выходе из игры или рассоединении во время движения персонажа, сервер не может поставить игрока по записанным координатам. Может быть исправлено только Администрацией сервера при запросе на сайте или в игре, надо указать свой стим-ид и/или имя в игре.

У меня не совпадает карта, тоесть на карте вижу себя стоящим в озере, а на самом деле стою на горе.

У вас не актуальная информация в кеше на вашем компьютере. Надо удалить папку с кешем сервера, которая находится в следующем расположении

После входа в игру все должно стать на свои места.

Залетаю на планету из космоса — половина текстур черные…. не вижу построек, одни названия или начинают прорисоваться горы прямо перед носом.

У вас не загрузилась серверная геодата или произошла ошибка ее загрузки. Лечение простое — надо выйти из игры и зайти заново.

Вопрос:
Я «прилип» к своему кораблю или застрял внутри…
Ответ:
Произошел сбой на сервере при привязке персонажа к кораблю. Если все в текущей зоне выйдут из игры, то сервер автоматически выгрузит эту зону через 20-30 сек. Если потом зайти снова, то проблема будет устранена. Если Игроки не хотят выходить, то либо ждать перезагрузки сервера или просить админа перегрузить зону на сервере.

Вопрос:
Я вышел из корабля в полете и упал вниз… корабль остался висеть…. что делать?
Ответ:
Ничего страшного… корабль повисит минут 3-5 и начнет спускаться… если же он очень высоко, то надо попросить кого нибудь полетать рядом с ним.
