Looking at the notifications, I realized it was failing almost instantly which means either network or permissions issue (generally)…

• I revoked all settings again on the Google account, reset them up through the PS4 system menu.

• Set DNS on my router for Google’s DNS server (8.8.8.8).

Still wouldn’t upload, same error. At this point I have no clue, it worked on the previous drive no issues since the feature was available. It’s impossible the hard drive itself was causing the problem. I installed the YouTube app and logged into my brand (secondary) account to look here as the google searches were either a ton of people saying it wasn’t working, Sony sucks or clear notifications list.

But I’ve just spent the past 3-4 hours troubleshooting this, looking for descriptions of error codes that doesn’t exist and lack of a manual. I decide to play Skyrim to blow off some steam. The game loads and after killing a werewolf, I decide to try one more time and it works!.

The only thing I can figure is you need the YouTube app installed (which was on my old drive) and logged into the correct channel, in addition to the linked services needed to be granted to the correct channel. I’m going to verify again tonight and see if I get another issue uploading but I’m hoping there won’t be a problem.
