hi,
I have b3750 error on my cim module. Any body know what causes this error. I have reset the module but the error remains. I have disconected the battery as well to no avail.

B3750 relates to the info switch on the wiper stalk, but your car shows as a 2006 which should have BC controls on the steering wheel.
Need more info to go on really — when you say you’ve reset the module, do you mean through Tech2 or Opcom? What is the exact set up in the car, and I’m assuming that if you’ve reset the CIM you have access to diagnostic kit, so what is the problem code from the error? It’ll be B3750-xx where xx is a hex number. The complete description of the fault code would also be handy.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
the error is through opcom. b3750 04 Switch Info Display Circuit Open or High Voltage. i have fitted an opera 40 and BC display both married. all 0k then three days ago no lights or gauges on dash. cleared all faults and everything ok, but now got the b3750 error.

Sounds like the CIM might be having a bit of a special moment… it would be worth checking to see if the CIM variant config is set correctly.

hi,
i have changed the Display Switch setting to not present and the fault has gone. There appears to be no problems with any switches on the steering wheel. Is this setting for controls on the stalk??????

I have just found the forum that must not be named,, the display switch setting is for Half Can modules,, mine is Full Can????? so should be not present, do not know how it changed itself… Thanks for your help.

i have noticed lot of peeps with this error. Probably they have switched the the display switch to present.could do with making this known to all.

People with half-can cars will get the error legitimately if their OBD stalk malfunctions, it just seems that someone has set yours incorrectly at some point and you’ve found it by having the car hooked up to the diagnostics.

sapete darmi qualche info riguardo questa failure trovata nella BCM?
Nessuna anomalia riscontrata durante il funzionamento del CdB.

Ciao,
il problema riguarda il non aver rilevato il pulsante BC configurato (radio e/o levetta a sterzo).
Se il GID lo hai acceso almeno una volta senza radio collegata (anche se paired) o con la levetta sconnessa appare il messaggio.Se resettando l’errore lasciando tutto connesso a dovere poi riappare bisogna verificare
1) la corretta configurazione del display (si potrebbe aspettare un input dalla leva e/o da un altro modello di radio)
2) il corretto funzionamento dell’attuatore

Giusto per precisare, «l’errore» � stato segnalato dalla BCM e riguardando il display � stato memorizzato per esso.
Errore analogo ci sarebbe se hai presente il display «grosso» tra tachimetro e contagiri.B3750 — Switch Info Display Circuit Malfunction

Si tempo fa avevo il GID con radio senza BC e OK, successivamente ho comprato la radio nuova sempre CD30MP3 Aux-in ma con tasti BC e OK, l’errore torna anche resettando. Quindi come dici tu devo configurare o far rilevare il tasto BC della radio, come?

Devi configurare la BCM indicandogli la presenza del tuo modello di radio e la non (?) presenza della leva a volante.
Mentre per tech 2 basta andare nella configurazione della BCM e quindi mid speed conf, per vauxcom non so bene. Dovresti trovare un analoga configurazione.
L’errore dovrebbe passare da -04 a -00 oppure -08 ad indicare che � andata a buon fine la lettura.

Ho appena verificato in auto, effettivamente con il test tramite OP-COM del tasto BC non da nessun segnale, ma in realt� funziona sul GID.
Ho controllato tutta la BCM e non ho trovato nulla che riguarda la leva destra del BC e la radio su mid speed conf era impostato su presente per sicurezza ho riprogrammato la BCM, ma tutto come prima.
Dove sto sbagliando?

grazie ai tuoi consigli.
L’attivazione del CdB nel quadro strumenti si gestisce con il code index, controllando su global tis mi sono accorto che era impostato su 046 cio� CdB presente, quindi riprogrammo il code index corretto 045 per la mia macchina e motorizzazione.
Ma purtroppo la failure rimaneva ancora presente allora ricontrollo bene variant config. in BCM e noto la voce Info Display PRESENTE….. inizialmente credevo si riferisse al GID e invece grazie alle tue info questa voce si riferisce proprio alla leva destra per il CdB.
Impostandolo su non presente la failure � sparita.Il CdB adesso che ci penso lo feci attivare per vedere i consumi tramite men� nascosto nel display piccolo del quadro strumenti quando ancora non avevo installato il GID, ma su info display non so per quale motivo era su presente.

Устранение неисправности:
В случае жалобы клиента сначала проверьте коды неисправностей через
Tech2. Если имеется любой код неисправности B3925, B3929, B3902, то
перед тем как совершить любое действие нужно выполнить следующие шаги.
Шаг 1: сначала убедитесь, что блоки управления BCM, панели приборов
(IPC) и подушек безопасности (SDM) участвуют в обмене данными
по шине CAN (проверяйте вместе с контролем или обнаружением
присутствия общего для всего автомобиля кода неисправности).
Если отсутствует любое из данных устройств, то следует
обнаружить и установить причину этого.
Шаг 2: Затем обнулите и перепрограммируйте блок BCM (программное
обеспечение Tech2, версия 105.000 или выше) до того, как
приступать к выполнению любого ремонта. В большинстве
случаев после этого двигатель должен заработать и все
коды неисправностей могут быть удалены. Если двигатель
не пускается, обратитесь, пожалуйста, за помощью к ETAC.
Важная информация:
— Когда Tech2 при перепрограммировании блока BCM запрашивает, были ли
заменены блок BCM и/или ECM (блок управления двигателем), то данный
вопрос также означает, было ли обнуление блока BCM и/или ECM!
— Не обнуляйте блок ECM до или одновременно с обнулением блока BCM.
В противном случае данные об автомобильном ключе могут быть утеряны
и потребуются новые передатчики ключей.

Делал и сброс и полную перепревязку блоков все по кругу. Пока ключи не прописаны в щитке ошибок нет. В моторнике виси ключь не прописан.

после затирания ошибок выплывают только: P1632, P1678, P1679.
после затирания ошибок остаются железно: B2652, B3977, (B3056, B3060).
Самое что интересное, ключи ложатся, ошибки (B3056, B3060) уходят.
