Доброго дня.В автомобиле сработали подушки :водителя пассажира и преднатяжители ремней.Подцепил сопротивления все ошибки стёрлись кроме одной.9439771 — Передняя подушка безопасности пассажира поджигатель.
В подушке пассажира один разъём и если его снять получаем ошибку 9437723 — воспламенитель для Подушка
безопасности пассажира.где расположен поджигатель?С уважением игорь.

По поджигателю и по воспламенитель ошибки были по водительской подушке,в ней два разъёма ,у пассажира один.,второго я не нашол.Может неправильно перевёл код ошибки и не там ищу.?Ошибки показал VCDS 908.1

Да, действительно по боковой пассажира.Сегодня Добрался до блока, пин вдавлен в блок и к томуже блок не прикручен вообще к кузову.Хозяин говорит сам менял парприз,разбирал, собирал.Спасибо за помощь.

My car has the airbag light on, and I had the code read with vagcom and it says its the passenger side airbag in the dash, resistance too high. So I bought an airbag and put it in but the code still cannot be cleared. I was told it could be the wiring from the module by a VW tech. I was wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram or knows if it is possible to test by checking voltage at the connector?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I really don’t like having the wife ride in the car with a non functioning airbag.

Find someone with VAG-COM\VCDS to do an Autoscan and post the error codes found? VAG-COM\VCDS will also check the sensors.

Those codes are new to me, what did you use to scan the motor?
I assume its the drivers side in your case, I do have:

Just an FYI, found the issue. After replacing the airbag, and checking the wiring, it turned out to be the connector at the module. Just messing with the connections to check the wiring cleared the code. Luckily my brothers VW tech buddy was able to test the wiring and airbag, as it would have been pretty tricky to track down without the proper equipment!
If anyone needs a passenger side airbag I now have a good spare, lol.

anyway, the radar sensor is misaligned on the horizontal axis. it requires calibration. can be done by dealer or ask any glass/windows center.
you COULD pull the radar out and code down the to a standard cruise control, but why would you? is cool, and you should also replace the steering wheel buttons, and taking apart the steering wheel is a big PITA.
get it fixed…

Are you suggesting calibration cannot be done via ? could you please elaborate about glass/window center?
Calibration requires a specialised board and procedure to get the alignment right. may be able to access the settings, but you still need the other hardware.
Some glass replacement shops have the equipment as it is similar/same as the camera calibration boards for lane change camera (which is tied into the radar if fitted)

I’m afraid not that simple. and normal CC are again different ‘s. So even pulling out the and coding it out, you won’t get normal cruise to work as the is not enabled. You’ll need to buy the official CC retrofit kit to enable normal cruise. And I’m not even sure if the activation ever goes through the factory as the car already has one form of cruise enabled.
I had assumed that a car with a flat radar from the factory came out with both FeCs…
As far as I know no. Only FeCs which are needed are activated.
As you know VW does not allow you to revert to normal cruise in cases the is unusable. Many many other car manufacturers allow this as you can change the cruise function from to CC and vice versa with flick of a switch or from menu.
Now this is just pure guesswork but what if it’s so that the VW system is so idiotically programmed that there’s only one allowed to be activated at a time for the cruise system. This could be one of the reasons why it’s not possible to change the functionality of CC.
If we look at the software mess VAG has made with the newer MIB3 systems especially in the new Superb, I would not be that surprised if this is the case. VAG has never been the front runner or the most innovative in software.
My MK7 has the ability to turn off the distance regulation (front assist it’s called) on the indicator stalk and the cruise reverts to a standard operation — is this not the case with every one? It probably deactivates other features too, but I would expect it makes it operate as the has asked.

since I retrofitted the round radar my CC became , period, although I never tried disabling Front Assist to see what happens.

I’m sure it did — I remember the fright my wife got when she nearly ran up the back of a car when the CC didn’t back off speed and the ear bashing I got because of ‘fiddling’ with her car!
However, I will take it for a drive tomorrow and recheck, as I never turned it off again (why would you!?!) I may be mistaken, but I won’t forget that ear bashing in a long time

Nor on my 2015 Skoda Octavia with flat radar. Disabling front assist also disables .
I tried it today. If you disable front assist from the menu, it allows you to activate cruise but it’s still . I tested that. Car brakes if the car in front brakes.
People, front assist and are different things. Front assist is like it says, assist system and is active cruise. Both use same radar but for different purpose.
If you get front assist disabled by something blocking the radar it just says Unavailable if you try to activate cruise.
And this is on Tiguan with flat radar.
With round radar if you disable front assist, it does not allow you to enable cruise either.
Ok, I’ll eat humble pie as I was incorrect. Tried my wife’s MK7 and turned front assist off and activated cruise control — it is still Active. I’m sorry for any misinformation I may have given.
Back to tho, I would go to many lengths to fix the fault as it is awesome ��
Autoglass charge £250+vat to do an alignment and Audi charge £200+vat. There are others out there who might have the Hella system or Autel ADAS who can do it cheaper but worth ringing around.

How do you code down the to regular cruise? Never heard of being able to do this

Yes, they changed it in later models, but those of us with early models are sh&t out of luck if we accidentally misalign the sensor. It’s a frustrating stupid design I wish there were a work around for.
Newer radars (mostly on MY2020 and later cars) can be coded to support standard cruise as well. It is then selectable from driver assist menu. Older ones don’t support this.
