3д макс ошибка check operands for self intersection

Всем привет! я новичок, учусь моделингу. Делал светильник Strala из Ikea, в форме звезды.

Отверстия хотел сделать с применением Proboolean. Check Operands For Self Intersection

Шаря на форумах нашел причину косяка, — кривая геометрия пересекаемой фигуры. В моем случае звезды. Еще на этапе построения ее, меня смущало как ее грани подсвечены. К сожалению очистил стек и придется объяснять как я ее построил. Сплайном посторил Star} Edit Poly}Выставил в середине координат ее}Инструментом Cut нарезал грани и образовавшуюся точку выровнял посередине и сместил затем} потом Summetry применил. Понял потом что геометрия косячная когда начал двигать вершины, образуются разрывы. Пытался Weldить их, не получается. Файл с моделью прилагается. Подскажите как исправить ошибку!​

в лшюбом случае такую гоеметрию буль не вывезет. Ее надо разбить на маленькие полигоны. Квадрифай мешь

Я читал что Proboolean отличает как раз от Boolean то что ей НЕ нужна мелкая сетка чтобы наделать отверстий, поправьте если не прав.
Меня больше интересует как построить такую форму замкнутой (сшитой по всей поверхности). В этой звезде скажем удалить один полигон, нельзя инструметом Loop потом выбрать грани и Кэпом вернуть полигон на место. Может скрипт есть волшебный чтобы косяки такие править

ну да именно,,
тольк наверно лучше будет сначала одну сторону продрявить, удалить торчалки, потом проарраить до цельной звезды, повелдить или покалапсить вершины стыков,
наложить Shell
и потом уже отсиметрить заднюю стенку,,
чтоб получилась цельная пустая звезда как сделанная из картона с дырочками %))

I have two surfaces (AutoCAD Civil 3D Surfaces). I need to create Solid area between them.

But standart AutoCAD operations haven`t helped me — functions don`t want to work.

I try to use for this 3Ds Max. But everytime I want to use ProBoolean Substraction I have this message «Invalid Boolean. Check operands for self intersection».

I use this sequence:

1) Import by Civil View two surfaces in .vsp3d

2) Convert two imported surfaces in Editable Poly

3) Use STL check modifier (all options) — to check and clean geometry

4) Use Vertex Weld Modifier (threshold 0.01 — 1 santimeter) — to check and clean geometry

5) Extrude up two surfaces by poligons using Editable Poly Modifier. Warning: Surface, which has word in name «Base» is default lower, than surface, which has word in name «Top». So I extrude «Base» surface lower than «Top».

6) Use ProBoolean Substraction to substract from «Base» goal «Top» Surface — BUT ALL PROCESS HAS BEEN CRASHED!!! I have a message.

Can you recommend any workaround, way to create solid area between two surfaces?

What I`m doing wrong?

Finally I need to have solid in AutoCAD. How can i export results to solid object (I try to use export to .sat — but in AutoCAD I had strange graphic)?

I attached all files: 

  • 2 Surfaces.vsp3d — file for opening Surfaces through Civil View in 3Ds Max
  • Faces.dwg — AutoCAD Drawing with faces. Please see the names of layers where surface located
  • 2015.max — 3Ds Max project 2015
  • Max.max — 3Ds Max project (I saved it in 2018 version)

Also I recorded a screencast where I demostrated workflow (link http://autode.sk/2zeQr63).

Please, help me, I need to make this solid as soon as possible.

Как из одного объемного объекта «вычесть» другой?
То есть, что бы в одном объекте образовалась дыра в форме другого. Например мне нужно в цилиндре сделать дыру в цилиндрической формы с ось симметрии перпендикулярной оси самого цилиндра в котором хочу делать дырку

Если я правильно понял сообщение, то вот:

выбираешь первый цилиндр, компаунд обжектс, далее про булеан, затем отмечаешь сабстракшн (стоит по умолчанию щёлкаешь старт пикинг и выбираешь второй цилиндр. Не забудь отжать кнопку «старт пикинг» :)
получается вот что
Чтобы так поставить цилиндры, то надо сначала один развернуть на 90 градусов, затем сделать Aline к другому и выставить по х, у, z везде center (их центры будут в одной точке).
з.ы. делай больше поликов.

лучше Pro Boolean, чем Boolean. Намного более адекватно вычитает/объединяет и т.д.

я вибираю, Proboolean, затем substraction, нажимаю Start Picking и тыкаю мышкой во второй цилиндр (который у меня уже выставлен так как мне надо в пересечение с первым, но без всяких aline, как ты говорил, просто руками поставил его туда от балды) и он мне говорит -Invalid Boolean, потом Check Operands for self intersection, и такое ощущение что наоборот их соединяет в одну фигуру — потому что они становятся оба одного цвета (цвета первого цилиндра что не так?

а как количество полигонов у фигуры увеличить?

Когда создаёшь объект это, в принципе, пофиг.

пусть даже везде по 1 стоит.
Когда закладке редактирования уже можешь изменить их кол-во.

Перебарщивать тоже не стоит. С круглыми объектами просто старайся чтобы глазу не были заметны рёбра :) Помни что при увеличении поликов (не в таких мелких примерах, а в глобальных сценах увеличивается время рендера.

Если и другие способы, когда модель уже преобразована с помощью Edit Poly, но чувствую это пока не нужно.
