I’m trying to build O365 into the new image for our machine by performing an offline install.

I have read over the entire article that talks about using the ODT (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/deploy-office-365-proplus-as-part-of-an-operating-system-image) but it gets a little vague at the Install O365 step.

I also reviewed the entire article that talks about drafting your configuration XML (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployoffice/configuration-options-for-the-office-2016-deployment-tool) to try to double-check for any problems that might have the XML
as the source of the issue.

Basically, I followed the steps in the first article by downloading the msi, extracting the setup.exe and sample XML to the desired folder, and then ran the setup.exe with only the «/download» switch.

It successfully downloaded the Office folder to the same directory as the setup.exe

However, when we are trying to actually install the downloaded source, we’re getting an error whose text says that there may be a problem with our internet settings or that the hard drive may not have enough space.
